Here's the last project I did that I finished in July. It's of my kids at my ds' high school graduation in June. It's totally not my style because I usually only do mixed media in small doses, but I love this page so much!
Kikipea, you have a dh that scraps for you??? How cute! He did a great job!

Your LO is gorgeous! Love the colors and all of the textured details. He did, but I have been asking him to make me a LO for a few years. I just wanted to see what he could do. He did this for me while I was away on a trip as a surprise. It's the only one, and I'm sure it will be the only one.

KikiPea, your husband is so sweet to make a layout for you. I have to watch mine, because he wants to snag my stuff to make fishing lures with! They are all lovely layouts, but I really like your Hello Perfection layout - everything about it!!
scrapbookdiva, I would hang that layout in my house. It's sooooo gorgeous! I "starred" it and left you love in the gallery.
I finished my next August Bonus challenge layout today. Hurray!

This is one of 3 I did last week which is amazing for me. I've not scrapped for about 4 years, with the exception of one double LO last year and then I did 3 last week. It used to take weeks to do just one. I want to do more but the tax man needs his paperwork. Boo. These are my gt.grandparents; no title as I'm going to do a run of LOs describing their lives and this is just the first.

I have not started yet but I did buy the comics needed to make this for my baby room. I promised my husband if this baby was a boy we'd do a Star Wars themed room.

This is my latest paper crafty thing. Making Mickey Mouse invitations into Minnie Mouse invitations. I made the bows with SCAL and my Sil Portrait and the eyelashes are black sharpie. (Except she/he has a 5 o'clock shadow. Luckily the two year old birthday girl didn't notice. )

These are great! I love these threads mdith4him I love your "roots" title. Is that foam? How did you cut it? Really pretty. My great grandparents also immigrated from Hungry. Loved your journaling! My mom and I went to Ellis Island a few years ago and got copies of their ship manifest with their names on the roll and just walked around. We felt like we were walking in their footsteps. It was really cool. Here's my latest. This is from Jen Schow's 6x6 pad class on YouTube that I'm doing this summer. It's pretty much a lift of her first lesson. Sorry it's so dark and not the greatest photo. I snapped this really quick to share and it's a little overcast out!

Here are two of my fave that I did, then I'll share one my DH did for me, while I was away on vacation!!! That is so awesome that your dh did a layout! He did a great job, too! I just finished an album for my parents' 50th anniversary, and a sweet 16 one for my dd. I have in progress a Halloween album and my wedding album.

Thanks, alissa103! It's an acrylic piece that came in Ali Edwards' Story Kit theme this month. I've found the ship manifest from my great-grandparents immigration from Hungary--it's pretty cool! I was at Ellis Island, too, many years ago, but I think I was too young to really appreciate it.

I have a Roots layout from Ali's Story Kit to share as well. Am researching my family history and this month's theme was perfect for also scrapping some old photos.

anniefb that's another great page and so very different from my own heritage style! My next few pages will contain the journalling (of which there is lots and will take a while to write up) to tie my pages together but here are the other two I did last week. I tend to scrap pictures and then scrap the story.

mdith4him, Your Roots pages are wonderful. I love how you tell the story of the importance of scrapbooking in your life. The typewriter font gives the journaling a vintage feel that I find so pretty. I love the map with all of the different places your family comes from. What a great job you did. TFS.

anniefb, Beautiful Roots page as well. The simple, clean lines with minimal embellishments, help to keep the focus on the most important part of the layout; the journaling. Really well done. TFS.
