Today, I was organizing my distress inks. I went to looking for charts. Have you seen this one? I'm not familiar with the blogger, but I really like that it's set up color wheel style.

It's easier to use colorwheel style, but there is not much room to grow. She doesn't have all the availabe colors on it.

Thanks for sharing that! I haven't found the definitive Distress color chart, but that one comes close.
I like the way Tim shows all of the color comparisons when he rolls out a new color, but I wish there was somewhere that showed all of the colors that way. The one on Ranger's website has the colors in random order, and it has a weird crinkly texture to it.

When you see the colours all laid out like that it is easy to see where the gaps are for new colours! Another yellow and another purple needed!!

This is ok but I want the neutrals on it, and I think she might be missing some of the limited editions or last year releases (I forget now that I've slept).

I like the way he does this too... but... sometimes he leaves out the most closely related colour Like when he showed blueprint sketch. I think it's pretty close to mermaid lagoon, but he didn't show this comparison at all and the cynical side of me thinks that was omitted on purpose. (ground espresso looks great and I think I'll be buying it!!!)

Aaaand... "Viola" one of my teeth-on-edge typos strikes again. ...when I went to pin it, it also had sneak 'peak' in the comment box. (which I promptly deleted!) ETA: I did notice, I think this is from a couple years ago, but it's a good start for me to try and arrange the colors, so I at least know which ones I have. (since I've just started buying the mini ink 4-packs)

Oh I totally need to do this with my distress inks so that I can see them myself. Thanks for sharing. I could pretend like it was artwork and hang it on the wall in the living room near my scrapping table. I bet my husband wouldn´t even notice.

Aaaand... "Viola" one of my teeth-on-edge typos strikes again. Is this on the blog post? I didn't read the whole thing, but I didn't see it. Or my brain just automatically corrects it while reading.

I have not checked it again; IIRC it was in the centre of the circle of ink colors, with an exclamation mark

I have not checked it again; IIRC it was in the centre of the circle of ink colors, with an exclamation mark Oh, I vaguely remember seeing it now. My brain just automatically corrected it. It's like those messages where they misspell words and add numbers, or even when they are backwards or upside down; I just read them normally. My daughter loves to find those kinds of errors. I should show it to her.

ETA: I did notice, I think this is from a couple years ago, but it's a good start for me to try and arrange the colors, so I at least know which ones I have. (since I've just started buying the mini ink 4-packs) I wish I waited for the mini's to come out. I really only like them for techniques and I really don't need the big honking pads for that. But I can't change now. But this chart doesn't have all of the colors or all of the limited editions on it. Using a Ranger chart would be better for ensuring you get every color (just my opinion).
