Real or fake
In this article there is a video a tourist took in NC. I don't know if I believe that big foot or Sasquatch exist but I don't know after looking at this video. What do you think. Real or fake?

I don't know if it's real or fake, and I didn't look at the video, but it seems to me, after all these years and with modern technology and cameras, at least some of these people who claim to see the beast could present as "proof" better pictures/videos than the grainy, unclear crap they always present. I mean, really??

My husband and I have had this discussion more than once! He believes that there is some type of large animal out there, but not necessarily a "bigfoot". I do not believe, at all. There have been to many "sightings" but not enough proof for me.
I tell him that Finding Bigfoot should be on the Comedy Central!!

I want to believe. It's fun to think that something mythical and mysterious is still out there somewhere. Alas, probably not.

If they exist, the smartest thing they can do is to continue to avoid people!

I also would like to believe it is real. However, I find it hard to believe that no remains have ever been found. We aren't talking about a small creature. If it were real, I think we would have found something by now.

While I would love it if Bigfoot or other mythical creatures actually existed I can't bring myself to believe in them because of these two reasons mainly: I don't know if it's real or fake, and I didn't look at the video, but it seems to me, after all these years and with modern technology and cameras, at least some of these people who claim to see the beast could present as "proof" better pictures/videos than the grainy, unclear crap they always present. I mean, really?? I also would like to believe it is real. However, I find it hard to believe that no remains have ever been found. We aren't talking about a small creature. If it were real, I think we would have found something by now. Especially since there are lots of groups of people actively searching for a Bigfoot you'd think they would have found remains by now. No matter how remote the location or shy the animal, it will die and it's a LARGE animal. You'd find bones at the very least. And I will take the videos and pictures more seriously when they are not of 1960s quality in 2015. In this day and age one should be able to get a reasonably clear photo of a creature if it actually existed.

Sure, Big Foot or Sasquatch exists. Lots of things do without us seeing or knowing about them. But not in that video. If I were filming it, I would be zooming in and not panning away. The video looks fake. The "animal/person" doesn't run away or look in the direction of the barking dog.

My oldest ds did a full on report about Monsters (big foot, loch ness monster, etc) in 6th grade for his gifted class. We even went to a local museum that had plaster casts of big foot's footprints. Believers are gonna believe...

No such thing. Just a fun urban myth.

I would say it's possible that a creature like Big Foot could live deep within a forest somewhere in the world. Just like they are discovering new creatures deep within the oceans and seas. The grainy photos and videos are fake. Phone cameras would be better quality than that.

The fact that no one has found any remains is what makes me believe that nothing similar to what we think of as a Big Foot really exist. In the oceans, we can only go so deep. So there is space for creatures to live and to die where we cannot go to look for them. So if you tell me there is likely an enormous creature in the ocean, I have to at least admit that there are ocean depths that no human has ever seen. But where the heck are the dead Sasquatches? I mean, hey, there haven't been any dinosaurs in a darn long time and we still keep finding their remains, kwim? And I think that the "proof" people have been presenting to the public over the years is all just bad. It's not even good looking proof, LOL. Beyond that, though, I do still think that the ideas of Big Foot, Nessie, etc. are pretty fun.

Of course he's real!!!! As is the Lochness Monster! How dull would life be if there were nothing fantastic to believe in?

I honestly don't believe a sasquatch even exists. And I certainly don't think any of the so-called proof is legitimate at all.

Because I was on my phone and couldn't post a photo before, I neglected to mention that I've decided to start collecting Sasquatch postcards. I keep running across them, so I figured, why not? This is my favorite so far--the grainy, elusive Bigfoot with a can of Spam!
