This morning, I made these To Die For Blueberry Muffins (shared on a thread last week) for breakfast, colored my hair, and made Funeral Sandwiches for lunch. We're going to my mom's for dinner, so my home duties are done for the day. Now I'm watching Angels baseball and working on my summer album. My favorite way to spend an afternoon. All four of us are home with the dogs. The weather is perfect today. Life is good. How about you?

Nice! My son and I went to early service this morning. OK, so 8:30 isn't early to many people, but it's summer and if I can get anyone to go to bed before 11 it's a miracle. Plus it's a 45 minute drive to town. So service, brunch, best buy and a few errands. It was a blast; my son is a riot and so much fun on a one-on-one basis! Now we're home. The DH & I watched an episode of The Last Enemy while ds and dd played on their computers. Now everyone is playing on their computers and I may start another layout or dinner....decisions, decisions?.!

I'm doing a self-paced Ali Edwards class called 31 Things. It's writing intensive and I'm finding the prompts really interesting and the process cathartic. I've done the first 3 prompts and need to get a photo for one. My 12 x 12 page protectors and cardstock should be here tomorrow so I can get these put together.

I am...its been hard though because after not scrapping for a few weeks I'm finding that I'm second guessing placement title and all of it. I feel like if I can just get one or 2 layouts done the creative juices would start flowing. I even took a break and tidied up my youngest son's room ?

needtime2scrap, oh, if you're like me, it's bad if your tidying up your child's room. For my first layout after a break, I like to use a story I want to tell and photos that aren't that great. I don't allow second guessing, just stick and go. I do have to remind myself it's the story that's important and not that every page is a masterpiece. Then I work on some photos that I love and everything just flows. Maybe that could work for you too.

Not exactly scrapping, but I did go to the store to buy the cardstock I needed to make a birthday banner for my great niece's birthday that I've been procrastinating about. I made a scalloped background cutting file for the banner pennants to make them more girly. Baby steps, I keep telling myself!

I did!! My day sounds very similar to yours...except I never even left the house. We went to church on Saturday, so Sunday I spent tending to a few house chores in the morning then scrapping the afternoon away until dinner time. It was great.
Today we are going to the "big city" so I am stopping at Michael's for a little scrap shopping. I'm really looking forward to that!

I did! We got home from the beach on Sat. night. After sorting and starting a load of vacation laundry, I uploaded all of our photos. By Sunday at DS's nap, I was itching to scrap. I started out by finishing the last touches on a page I did at a crop before we left that I didn't have time to do before. Then I started a two-pager of pics of DS the last time we were at the beach (2 yrs ago) and finished it after he went to bed.
I'm hoping to get another page started during nap today. I'd love to start working on our beach trip, but I'm trying to finish some classes I'm taking first.

I did a few things on Sunday and now it's back to work again - the weekend goes much too quickly! Roll on Thursday when I have a couple of days off!
I've just started a sub to Ali's Story Kit and love it!
