I lost my head and bought a club size jar of ranch dressing mix. What to make with it? There's only so much dressing and dip we can consume. I've sprinkled it on chicken. Got any recipes to share? Thanks.

Mix it in cream cheese and make little sandwiches with cucumbers and triscuits, or Ritz. Those are one of my favorite party foods ever!

Mississippi pot roast calls for a packet of ranch dressing mix. Of course, you also have to buy au jus mix to go with it. I like it but it's a little salty (duh) so go easy on salt elsewhere in your meal. You can use ranch dressing in pasta salad instead of whatever the recipe calls for. It's also good on Cobb salad and taco salad. You can make faux bleu cheese dressing by mixing crumbled bleu cheese into ranch dressing. That's all I got. ETA oh, ya know my best way to get rid of stuff like that? Put some of it in empty peanut butter jars and hand it out to my sister, my mom, my friends ...

I make ranch potato salad--red potatoes, ranch, scallions (or red onion), cilantro (or parsley), cheddar cheese, bacon, and ranch dressing. My family loves it. I have often seen ranch potatoes for the crockpot on Pinterest, though I haven't made them yet. I also make a great veggie pizza appetizer that is similar to this recipe allrecipes.com/recipe/vegetable-pizza-i/. It always is a big hit at parties.

One of my family's favorite recipes, which is funny given how easy it is to make, is that one that was all over Facebook earlier this year -- chicken, potatoes, green beans all in one pan.
Make a row of chicken (I use boneless thighs), a row of red potatoes cut up (or any potatoes), and a row of green beans. Dot some butter on it and then sprinkle dry ranch dressing. Bake at 350 for an hour or so. Done.

Our taco soup recipe calls for one packet of ranch and one packet of taco seasoning. Feeds a ton!

I make a dip with one pack ranch dip mix, 1 cup mayo, 1 cup sour cream, one bunch of chopped green onions and one cup of shredded sharp cheese. It is to.die.for!

I mix it with fat free greek yogurt for a dip-healthier than sour cream and mayo.
When i was a teenager we made ranch burgers or ranch meatloaf with the packet mixed in the ground meat.

cream cheese, shredded cheddar, dry ranch mix, and beer = crack dip! I use a KitchenAid to stir it up and just keep dumping the various ingredients in until the consistency's right and it tastes like I want it. It's outstanding with pretzels or veggies.

I use ranch mix as seasoning when making fried potatoes; mix it with mayo, bacon bits, cauliflower, and broccoli for an awesome salad; mix it in with burger and then make hamburgers with it; use it as a dry rub for pork chops...it's so easy to use!

I use it to make turkey burgers. One pkg of ground turkey (a pound, maybe?), one pkt of dressing and one egg.

glass pan - put your boneless chicken breast on one side (or alternative would be some frozen rosarina meatballs) and either cut up potatoes or frozen skinny green beans (or both) on the other side. Take a stick of butter and slice some thin pieces randomly over everything..maybe 6-8 small slices for the pan.
Then shake some dry powdered ranch on top. Cover with foil and bake..take foil off last few minutes.
So easy and when my mom just got out of the hospital I made a couple of these in disposable pans, covered with foil and froze. They loved it.

My granddaughter and I just made ranch wonton chips. We cut wonton wrappers in 4ths and fried them, when they were still hot we sprinkled them with dry ranch dressing. We love them.

Love it on popcorn and pasta salad as others have mentioned. I also do a rustic potato salad. i cut the potatoes (non peeled) a package of the ranch dressing bacon, onion you can cut them how you liike. Dh likes them a little bigger. We use olive oil then sometimes we'll add parmasean cheese depends on what we're doing with them. Then throw them in the oven or do them in the skillet if we're in a hurry. Sooo good.

there are recipes out there too. I used to buy it at sams we loved it.. we used it on chicken. we found a recipe we liked after trying some. we LOVE where you slice potatoes in big strips & mix with the powder & bake them. I do not remember the recipe though. I have not been a sams member for yrs due to $$$ It might have been ranch roasted potates.

Wow, some awesome recipes here. They sound delicious (copy/paste time here)! I got a recipe from a former co-worker using dry ranch dressing and it made a great snack. You can make as much or as little of this as you like. Cheddar gold fish crackers in olive oil; sprinkle with dill seasoning and dry ranch dressing; then mix. Great for card parties and get-togethers. Love it!

My parents used to make it for parties they were hosting. Really good, and so easy.

I made taco soup with a packet of ranch just last night. The recipe I followed didn't even call for ranch, but I added it anyway.
For years, I always added a packet of ranch to hamburgers. I don't know why I stopped...

Do you sprinkle an entire pkt of dressing over the chicken, potatoes, and green beans? What temp do you cook it at?

Do you sprinkle an entire pkt of dressing over the chicken, potatoes, and green beans? What temp do you cook it at? It's the same recipe I mentioned above. 350 for an hour or so or until everything is cooked. If I use fresh green beans I like to cook them for a few minutes in the microwave first, or blanch them, because otherwise they're not cooked enough for me... even after an hour they're still a bit "chewy". I actually use a large size rectangular pyrex and I use two packets of the dressing mix. Also I like the "zesty" mix better than regular, although regular is tasty too.
