Classical. I like the early-to-mid 20th century -- Stravinsky, Shostakovitch, Prokofiev, Copland, Ravel, Debussey, Bernstein, Gershwin. I'd be happy forever listing to them.

Same here. It's pretty much all I listen to now. Me too but I do throw in the occasional country. But if I had to choose, it would definitely be Christian music.

I am surprised that classical is so popular here. I also primarily listen to classical. But if I could only choose one, it would have to say hymns. When need them, I Really need them.

My taste in music is very eclectic, but right now I'd have to say that I'd choose R&B/Soul/Motown. Think Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross....

I HONESTLY can't choose just one...I would feel like I'm missing out on some great stuff. If I HAD to only have one...ugh! I guess I would choose country/folk, John Denver's music always makes me feel good. I really, truly love all music, except for RAP. That gives me an instant headache.

That's like asking me which of my children I would choose as my favorite-it can't be done.

The country of today, definitely not the twangy stuff of years past.

I would have to choose rock.... which is kind of cheating a little. It would cover a lot of sub-genres for me.

I'd go nuts. If I had to choose at this time in my life, I'd say Country. Same for me! I have over 800 songs on my iPod ranging from Spanish to 80's to Glee. But the majority is country, both old and current.

One of my favorite childhood memories is about bluegrass gospel music. My mom used to take us to bluegrass festivals when I was growing up. They were all weekend kind of things where we camped out and the adults would spread blankets out in front of the stage. Back in those days, our parents would just say go have fun, remember where we are and let us go. We would play and wander around all the booths that sold crafts and find our way back to the parents and then do it all over again. Anyway, on Sunday mornings, they always had gospel music and it was always so happy. People would clap and sing along with the bands and we kids would get up and dance until we could hardly stand up we were so tired. We would fall onto the blankets, staring up at the blue sky and fluffy clouds with my mom lying in between us while we guessed what the clouds looked like. I remember feeling so incredibly loved in those moments. My mom would always be laughing and smiling and the music like a happy soundtrack to those weekends. Thank you for reminding me of that this morning.
