Alternative rock. DD goes nuts when DH changes the station on the radio in my car to his station, which she calls "barn music" LOL!

I couldn't do it, it's not possible. Nope, no way, could not do it. To quote a great man 'the most impassioned song to a lonely soul is so easily outgrown'.

That would be like eating one food for the rest of your life. You would love it at first, but the limitations would make it less appealing as time went on. Can't do it.

Classical. Although I love all music (except the rap crap and the fringe-y stuff)

Peter Paul and Mary type stuff.
Unless Christmas is a genre. Then it would be that!

Growing up in a musical family, I love so many types of music--oom-pah (waltzes and polkas), rock (old, heavy, alternative), traditional country, new country, country rock, and classical--that I would hate to choose. If forced to choose, it would be rock.

Same here. It's pretty much all I listen to now. Me too but I wonder if it's still called that? Maybe worship? contemporary worship? I was thinking worship.

Australian 80's Rock (That's quite a specific genre, but "rock" is too general - I might end up with some Bon Jovi or something! )

70's and 80's punk/alternative. There's so many kinds of alternative that I felt the need to clarify.
