Okay, I know there is no such thing as a cardstock emergency but... I just ran out of my favorite red color. It was the darkest red in an American Crafts smooth texture assortment pack. I can't seem to find AC branded cardstock on SSS or Scrapbook.com. Do they still sell AC brand paper? Do you have any suggestions for a smooth, dark red that is not purple tinted? The Bazzil cardshop "peppermint" color is the closest, but still not dark enough.

Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler is my favorite red cardstock.

You can buy the packs of the individual colours direct from American Crafts if you are in the US (there is also a lot of AC stuff on Amazon). The darkest red they have on their site is Crimson - it's hard to tell from the colour on screen if it's the one you're describing (it looks a bit light) but you could email AC and ask? I've normally got a quick response to these type of questions  |

You can buy individual color AC paper packs at www.allscrapbooksteals.com/This is where I get my CS packs. I am not affiliated, just a long time happy customer. But hey - don't blame me if you end with a cart full of stuff because their prices are so great! I didn't really have a chance to look - running out the door but I didn't see it in 12x12 - but they have a bunch of sizes - 12x12, 8 1/2 x11, 8x8, etc so you'll have to look in each section, and if it's in the Christmas multi pack - they have that. Hope you find it! PS - their webiste sucks but the prices make it worth it to me! |

You also might try createforless.com. I'm not sure if they sell AC but they do sell cardstock single color packs.

Go a to Amazon and type "red cardstock" into the search box. Wow - a lot of choices!
