So my sister had decided to be a Beach Body Coach. I figured out a few years ago that BB was a MLM scheme but for fitness. She has lost a lot of weight over the last five years, but she did it by changing her eating habits and becoming a marathon runner. She did not do it by drinking powdered shakes. But now she's trying to sell everybody on the 21 day fix program so I assume that's the one that she gets a percentage of. The price she's giving us isn't too bad, less than I've seen other BB coaches trying to sell it at online, so she may be giving us a discount.
Here's the thing, it's still more expensive than real food. I'm kind of hesitant to pull the trigger. I could afford it this month and I am working on my weight this month (7 lbs in one month. No sugar since Aug 3.) But I don't know anything about it. I'd ask her but she's never done it either. Today was her first day ever on the 21 day fix. Also, I want to know from customers without getting the spiel. What's it like?

I got the 21 day fix system a few months ago but just started to really stick to it about a week and a half ago. So far I have been focusing on the nutrition portion. I am not quite sure what you mean by "it's more expensive than real food"? With the 21 day fix program you get workout DVD's as well as a nutrition program based on their container system. They have a formula for determining which calorie bracket you are in, and from there you figure out how many of each container you get per day. The containers are fruit, veggies, grains/starches, proteins, fats, and oils. Shakeology is a protein powder/meal replacement that BB really pushes, but it isn't necessary to have it to use the program. I believe that they may have a challenge pack on sale right now so you would get a better price on the Shakeology, but you could also just buy the program without it.
I really like the nutrition portion of the program. I have been eating really clean and it is helping me to balance what I am eating throughout the day. I don't have Shakeology, but I do use a different protein powder (Phood from Plant Fusion) for some of my breakfasts simply because I can eat it on the go and I put other healthy stuff in it. I could easily do without it, though.
I have done the workouts previously and they are good as well, but so far I haven't been as consistent with them as I should be.

Well there is part of my confusion. There's another person on my Facebook feed that pushes the version with the shakes added in. That helps.

There is lots of info about the program on Pinterest. No you don't have to drink Shakology.

I use Shakeology as one of my meals on 21 Day Fix but like above poster said it's not necessary. I do it for ease by not having to plan another meal. The Shakeology subscription is separate from the 21 Day Fix program you'd purchase from your sister's Beach Body website. She would get a percentage of the sales if you did decide to get a Shakeology monthly subscription.

Coming from someone who needs to get in shape.......the 21 day fix is very real...... If you follow it.
I am heavy, my husband complains of love handles(smh). We did the 21 day fix together. We exercised every morning and I measured my foods. He didn't measure. I felt a difference after 7 days in my core area. It does work.
When you call to order tell them this......I WANT NOTHING EXTRA! No shakes. No mixers. No supplements. No supplement refills. JUST YOUR CUPS AND VIDEO's! That is exactly what I did!
Have fun!!

As has been said, you don't have to get the Shakeology to do the fix. I actually do get Shakeology because it really helps curb my cravings for sweets and it's nutritionally a good supplement. I only like the chocolate one, personally. But the Fix program itself is about eating right and watching portions, and then doing the workouts. I don't find the BeachBody coaches to be hard sellers. It's MLM but not pushy at all, IME. I'm actually a coach too, but only to get the discount on purchases I don't have any clients of my own, not interested in that.
