I'm also curious to know more about it.
We've owned 2 Bowflex products, and I can tell you that their customer service seems pretty good at least (We've had to call for replacement parts a couple of times when things wear out.)
I'd rather get a treadmill, but this machine has a smaller footprint so it will fit into the room better.

My mom had one. It made for a great purse/totebag holder in her sewing room.

It's an elliptical, right? I can't see the picture. I only do the treadmill. I have tried the elliptical and I can't use it.
An elliptical machine is a great machine to have, if you will use it. They are much easier on the joints. I have an old cowoker at my gym and she has bad RA. I mean really bad and she does the elliptical like she were on a cloud. The workout is really good.
I love the treadmill, for me it's a better machine. I can walk on it as long as I want and I enjoy it. I would only buy a treadmill, but that's me.

I'm fairly ignorant about workout machines. When I was in good shape, I relied exclusively on going to aerobics classes. I've been out of shape now for some time and doing nothing except occasionally walking. My dh is more familiar with weights, machines, etc. than I am. He's also out I shape now too, though not as bad as me. If I had my choice, I probably would have picked a treadmill. I'm not even sure why tbh. I guess it seems more familiar? He really didn't want a treadmill. He thinks they're boring. Also, he wanted a machine that would work upper and lower body.
So yeah, I guess this is an elliptical. I just wasn't sure what people thought of this specific machine. I think we're going to bite the bullet and try it. We need to do something. And of course we realize the possibility of it becoming an expensive clothes rack, just like any machine. I've had some terrible health scares over the last few years and I really, really want to commit to getting my health back.

I also like doing inclines and speed challenges. I haven't done intervals in a long time as I like the incline the best. An elliptical might be equally good. If I could do the machine I would. The best machine for you AND your husband is whatever one you will use. An elliptical that gets used frequently is better than a drying wrack (sp) or clothes hanger.
