yesterday I was on the way to a work outing, when due to traffic I ended up pacing an old man in a little 1920s style 2-seater convertible hot rod. at some point I noticed he had clipped to his windshield, right up top left, a 1980s era pic of a middle aged woman. His wife, probably? The idea that he was out with his lady for a drive just wrecked me (might've had something to do with the fact that I'm switching anxiety/depression meds lol) but it was undeniably sweet, no matter the real story. I hope DH and I are lucky enough to have such a love like that.
have you seen things like this, that just 'get' you?

Yes, but I can't think of an example right now.
I just think it's so great that you noticed it and embraced the emotion!

Not exactly like that but on holiday I saw an older couple taking silly selfies with an ipad, they looked like they were having so much fun. I just thought it was really sweet.
