I have never been one to tan, as I have fair skin and family history of skin cancer. This summer, though, I've really been craving having some color, so I've been doing light spray tans. I've been really happy with the results. Yesterday, I bought a few more sessions and I received some free (full sized) products as a bonus with the purchase. One's a body wash that's supposed to help preserve your tan and the other is a lotion that's supposed to do the same (they are both made by Versa Spa, the maker of the spray tan machines I use). Has anyone used these types of products? Do they actually do anything? I'm happy with my current body wash and lotion and not inclined to change, but if these will actually extend the life of my tan.. Maybe.

if it's anything like I've seen offered, the lotion has a small amount of self-tanner in it, and will help prolong your tan that way. I haven't seen body wash tho, that's interesting. maybe it has less/no sulfates, so it isn't so harsh and apt to wash off your tan?

I had no idea they existed, but I doubt they work. I would love for you to tell me I am wrong and they DO work. Please update us.

That was my initial thought... until I read the label and indeed, sulfate-city. My current body wash is sulfate-free. I'm sure they are just a gimmick, but they are full-sized and kind of expensive regularly, so I feel bad wasting them.
