I'm attempting to clean my dining room today, and because I'm here you can see that I'm easily distracted. I found a bag of stuff that I bought at a LSS craft tag sale. People pay a fee to register and bring in craft supplies. They get sold and then they get store credit.
In my bag I have:
- Darice butterfly embossing folder - 3 unopened, bead your own, ornament kits - butterfly and bird embellishments - another bag of embellishments with flowers, butterflies and stars - 2 containers of embossing powder - 3 sealed Perfect Pearls - 1 holographic embossing powder - 2 containers of glitter - 3 single rubber stamps - a bag of vintage looking, glass, beaded garland - a book on Temari (How to Make Japanese Thread Balls)
When I get it all put away I'm going back into the dining room. If you don't hear from me again, It's been nice knowing ya!!!!

I'll still be in there when you get here. Because I was Swiffering under the china cabinet I thought, What the heck, I might as well peek in the bottom part of the china cabinet. I found 16 rolls (4 packs of 4) of Scotch Tape. Now so you don't think I'm a crazy hoarder, I bought them for 1/2 price at Target a while ago. And, I tend to use a lot of tape when I'm wrapping presents because my sister always tried to sneak peaks at gifts when she was little and I suspect that she still does it now. There was a Stampin Up set of sports themed stamps that I tucked away to make a gift. Of course I forgot all about it; but, Christmas is coming so I still have time. There was a 24 pack of Martha Stewart Essential Colors Glitter Set, a Martha Stewart Frosty Gingerbread Glitter and Glue Set, a Martha Stewart Holidays Glitter and Glue Set and a Martha Stewart Travel Journal Kit. I know some peas think that glitter is the devil, but two years ago fond Christmas memories frequently seemed to include glitter and I've been hooked ever since. They have been in there for safe keeping but I now think I have amassed enough glitter that I should box all of my glitters in their own storage container.

LOL I can totally relate! I've been unboxing my stash of scrapping stuff from when we moved three years ago. Some of that stuff had been untouched in at least a decade or more because it sat packed up on a shelf in my old studio for years. It was like taking a little trip down scrapbooking memory lane as I went through all of it piece by piece, deciding if it was still relevant or not, and saying quiet homage to the many, many companies that have gone belly up in the time since it was lovingly squirreled away! I will also admit that whenever I go on a scrappy road trip with my friends, I bring along an empty Iris bin to put the stuff that I buy along the way into. What I will NOT admit are how MANY of those bins have now been finally unpacked and sorted into their proper categories! I really need to do a better job of unpacking my treasures right when I get home, and now that my studio is pretty much done it should be easier to do that so I can start using some of this hoard, er, STUFF. I will also not admit to the number of duplicate stamp sets I have because I liked them so much I bought them twice not realizing I already had it at home!

@crazyforscraps when we had many LSSs I finally decided just to keep a container in my vehicle permanently because I'd always manage to make my way into one of them, even if I was originally just going to the dentist How fun, it's like shopping without spending the money!

Excellent! Nothing like "reshopping" - like getting stuff for free!

My dh was organizing our basement and brought up 2 boxes the size that reams of paper come in. They were full of things that I had done swaps with years ago. I completely forgot about them. We moved here 10 yrs ago, we must have missed unpacking a few boxes...
