What happened to all the scrapbook stores? my family is currently on a Florida vacation in the Jacksonville area and I was sure I would get to go to some great stores. The only thing I found was two rubber stamp stores with limited paper. We also spent the day in Savannah Ga and I couldn't find one.... I was so disappointed. Florida peas are there any stores left?

Don't try Virginia if you are traveling up the coast. There are NONE. Pennsylvania still has some but the ones I know of are in Lancaster County.

I feel your pain. There were two great stores in Billings, MT a few years ago and they are both gone. I'd look forward to visiting them when I'd visit my son.

There is only ONE store anywhere near me. I've been afraid to go there only to find it gone. I know it's struggling to hang on. So sad. The staff is so nice!

You should come to BC! I live just outside Vancouver and not including Michaels I have 5 scrapping stores within 45 minutes of me. Real scrap stores - not craft stores with a bit of paper and ink on the side. I feel so happy that we have these here still and so terrible for all of you when I read these posts. You should come visit us...and with the current exchange rate you would make a killing!LOL!

I haven't been in an independent scrapbook store in more than five years. Maybe longer.

We still have a couple, but they are so far away from me that I only make it to either one of them 2-3 times a year at most. It's just too much to drive 50 min to 1.5 hours one way (with good weather and no traffic) just to shop somewhere when you usually have a little kid with you who will start whining to leave the second you walk in the door. It makes it so NOT fun!

Nothing near me anymore. There are a couple in other cities, but everything is online now and the only things left are big box type stores.

It's called The Scrapbook Shack. I visited when I was in Boulder in June for work. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! Here's their website: thescrapbookshack.com/
