Good morning scrappy peeps! Paula here! (I've been watching lots of Inkie Quill you-tube videos so in my mind that is said in Adele's fabulous Aussie accent instead of my Canadian one!). It's a little earlier than I intended to start happy hour but I thought I'd start getting the posts created while I have my morning coffee.....the kids already have a play date started so I could get pulled from the boards at any time! Living on the edge! We've actually got a town festival to go to in a few hours and another all day activity tomorrow so no scrapping for me this weekend! Just lots of photo taking!!
So, pop in here and say Hi over the weekend! (Not just in Happy hour!). Tell us what you're drinking! (I'll try to check back in for cocktail hour to make sure everyone's glass has been topped up!). And, of course, tell us if you're scrapping!

Scrapping all WEEKEND!!!! - I have a lot on my agenda and I hope I accomplish a lot - let's do some quick posts of projects we get done, whether they are layouts, organizing, purging, etc, whatever you are doing.
It is National Relaxation Day - so here is your excuse to the family "I need to celebrate National Relaxation Day, by scrapbooking." My DH went for it. But he is a doll, he always encourages me to scrapbook.
Lets have a fun day!

Hello to all from Joburg! I am scrapping a long overdue double page using BoBunny Timepiece papers, which I love and stockpiled. I am pretty sure there will be red wine later as my husband is cooking

I am pretty sure there will be red wine later as my husband is cooking I just want to tell you that my family recently returned from a long anticipated trip to South Africa and you have a lovely country! We didn't spend any time in Joburg; we only flew in on our way to Hoedspruit and our safari camp. I was SHOCKED to find a very lovely scrap store in Hoedspruit; I had no time to shop but the girl minding the store was able to help me grab a handful of things to help scrap my lovely safari photos. I really, REALLY hope to come back again some day.
On to my second cup of coffee...

This makes me so happy! Look me up when you come back again. If you need more "stuff" to help with those pages, let me know. In the meanwhile, hats off to the Hobby Box! I think that must be where you were helped?

If I'd known it was there, I would have planned some time to spend there; as it was, I had about 10 minutes!

Good morning! Can this cardmaker join in the fun? I have to get cards made this weekend. HAVE TO!
I lift my Diet Coke in salute to all the scrapbookers crafting this weekend.
P.S. If I finish my cards, I will be working on AE's 31 Things.

Good morning, everyone! I'm checking in from blazing hot Southern California.
My priority for the weekend is getting DD organized and packed for her freshman year of college in Oregon. We're driving her up next week. She's been working as a camp counselor in the mountains all summer, so we still have a lot to do. I'm heading over to Ikea this morning to get a Raskog cart for her to use as a nightstand, then I am making a duvet cover out of the flat sheets that came with her bedding sets.
I will be here, but no scrapping for me today!

Good morning! It is already almost 11:00 here, but I am only on my second cup of coffee even though I have been up since 7:30. I did some AM stuff and then went to the sauna. I hope to scrap this weekend. PL is my highest priority because I already have three weeks worth of photos printed. Glad to join in here!

Hi everyone. It's now noon here at the top of the mitten in Michigan. I'm on my second can of Pepsi with real sugar (but did have milk with breakfast and water throughout my morning). I'm hoping to pop on and off this weekend. I did finish a scripture art journaling page this morning before making breakfast and doing some chores. We're in the process of clearing land for a shed, which meant a huge black walnut tree had to be cut down. I'm glad to be rid of the tree as it was next to the orchard and some of our newer trees were not growing very well because of it. But it has been taking most of my free time and some non-free time (my indoor chores are way behind). I still might scrap something over the weekend.

freeatlast, we love all things crafty. Hope you share your cards! oaksong, Making a duvet out of sheets is very clever. I was saddened by "getting DD organized and packed for her freshman year of college in Oregon. We're driving her up next week." But I'm very emotional as my oldest turns 13 in a week and a half and it's hitting me hard this year (my youngest just turned 10 and they are now both in double digits could have something to do with it). nancydrew, I'd love to see the Christmas ornaments if you can share. I think it's a fabulous thing to do. maribeth, I love the idea of posting our finished whatever. alittleintrepid, thanks for hosting!!!

ashley how was your first week? Exciting? It was really exciting!!! It's a really huge system, so getting started the first two days was super busy. Everyone I've met has been incredibly nice and helpful, and I hope it's going to be a great place to work.

Getting ready to run more errands then settle in for a scrapping session. I feel for you, Ashley - starting a new job is tiring! I had a long week at work (first week back after vacation - ugh!) but I need to get my scrap on! We had a houseguest last weekend (21DD's BF) so we barely got unpacked from vacation and then had to be "on" for entertaining and getting to know him - nice guy, we approve.

No scrapping for me this weekend, I have next weekend blocked out for scrapping! We're at the lake, the weather is forecast to be sunny and 90 degrees, so it won't be long before we're IN the lake!

Hi everyone! I won't be doing any scrapping this weekend. I'll be busy organizing and purging unused items in my house as we get ready to move at the end of the month. On the bright side, after we move I'll have a scrapping space again!!!!!!! I am beyond thrilled about that and I'm excited to move. Not even the thought of packing, cleaning, moving, and unpacking is getting me down. I've gone through a few closets so far today. I just wanted to sit down and enjoy some coffee and HH for a few minutes before I get back to work. I hope all of you who get to scrap today enjoy a fun, productive day.

No scrapping this weekend but I'm going to unpack my scrap room. I moved a year ago to a place that has a finished basement I can use for my art studio but I still have some boxes sitting on my scrap table.
I am also going to go through my ephemera and take out all the stuff that I know I'm not going to use.
If that is done I'm going to make a page kit.

I'll be in and out. I'm getting page kits together for a crop next weekend. And I am a part of a card challenge on another board so I might try to work an that at for a bit.
