What are your must have scrappy products that you can't scrap without? And what are your " style-makers" that make a page uniquely yours?
(full disclosure...this topic was borrowed from a You-tube video hop! I'll come back and post mine in a little bit)

My signature bit to end off making a page with is to put the date on a bit of PP punched out with that Jenni B / Fiskars punch that makes a mini Rolodex card. I tuck it into a layer somewhere.
ETA: my must have is ink.

Besides my basic tools, must haves for me are a variety of embellishments - brads, enamel dots, wood veneer, flowers, stickers, die cuts, etc- to create a sprinkling of interest and texture.
The style maker for me is pretty paper that creates nice color harmonies with the photos and embellishments.

Hmmm...good question. Probably answering both questions is white cardstock. I am doing my PL this year where everything has a white border, even the filler and journaling cards.

Basics: inking edges
Style maker: I have to draw thin lines around the edges of my layouts. They don't seem "finished" if they're not "framed"... I use either a gel pen, a marker or a clear glitter pen.

Style makers: Well, I won't be on any design teams, because I don't think I have a signature style or something that has to be on every page. I like to mix things up. The 9 out of 10 for me would be a story / journaling! I do cringe a bit when I see layouts without any.
Must Haves: EVERY.THING! I <3 it all!

Every page of mine has patterned paper, tags, and usually paint or ink. I also use my Cameo on at least 90% of my pages. I think my personal "style makers" are vintage book pages, photo corners, and background die cut files.

My must haves have changed over the years. It used to be fluid chalk and then it was sewing. Then my sewing machine broke. I've always loved brads and kraft paper. These days I love grids. I like clean lines and I can use lots of pictures.

I think this is my favourite of all the HH threads so far! I love to read about how everybody does things.....we are all so different. I like to play around on 12 by 12 pages where my PL is more trying to capture a broader range of our lives so my must haves/style makers end up different for each. I love the idea to do something the same on every layout.....the Rolodex cards, the hearts, or even the initials but I'm totally inconsistent!
So, for 12 by 12..... Must haves: Layers of patterned paper, roller stamps, something in the top and bottom inches of the page to ground it Style makers: texture (this could be ruffled page edges , stitching, inking, or embellishments....it just have to have multiple layers of things to look at.
For my PL.... Must haves: ephemera. (I like to add little bits of our lives), and those roller stamps (have I said that I'm obsessed with roller stamps lately?) Style makers: cuts from my cameo, mini word stickers, little stickers and tabs

Ummmmmm the only thing I can think of that is almost all LO's is ink on the edges of the papers.

I won't read through other responses yet...but here are my must-haves:
I don't feel a PL spread is complete unless I use my tiny attacher at least once. And I like to use my typewriter for at least one journal card.
For layouts, I always feel like a LO is "off" unless I add some machine stitching to it. I'm somewhat "embellishment challenged" so the stitching helps add a little something to the page without having to worry about tons of clustering embellishments which just mess with my mind.
I also really like to stamp - so if I don't pull out my stamps for a LO or spread, I just feel like it's not finished.

Must haves: a little bit of everything! Stamps, ribbon, patterned paper, cardstock, embellishments. I like variety!
Style: I still like paper piecings and as hard as I try I HAVE to chalk the edges of the pieces with chalk pastels. My pages have to have titles and journaling. I usually have a tag of some sort on my pages somewhere.

Must haves: tiny attacher, stamps, journalling
Style: I really like grids and clean lines, but I don't think I use one unique element on each layout

Must haves are enamel dots and patterned paper.
My style is clean lines. I rarely adhere things at an angle. I try to do it occasionally.

My must have is patterned paper. I use it on every single crafty thing I make. I don't think I have any signature things.

Must haves: neutral cardstock as my base (right now the go to is white) multiple photos (right now it is 2-6 on a 4X6) enamel dots usually strips, boxes or banners
Style makers: I always always sign my pages with three little hearts and either Mommy or my initials. I also always date them with at least the year since I don't scrap chronologically. I have been getting back into doodling so maybe that will be another style maker

It seems like a lot of my pages are "adventure" related - or go into the adventure scrapbook when completed, and most adventures involve running events. Thank goodness for logo designs that I can try and recreate for pages, and paper matching what I am wearing, because there really is not a lot of running related embellishments out there.

I cannot scrap without herma dotto removable adhesive. My signature thing is not really a consistent thing but I love putting either 2 or 3 brads in a row or now that there are enamel dots, definitely those. I find a reason to use those on most pages.
My other signature thing is I often use a strip of patterned paper either along the bottom or along the side of a layout. I do it much more often than not.
