My MIL and DH. Even if I ask for a specific item they it is usually not what I receive unless I go to the store and point. DH does OK on bigger items but not smaller stuff.
MIL finds (I have no idea where) stuff that is really old (like 2006 old) or those albums that are already decorated so you just add the picture. I asked for a 1 inch circle punch once and got a 1/2 inch square punch. I still don't know how I was supposed to use that thing.
Not scrapping related but for Mothers Day DH took the kids to Joanns to buy yarn (I also knit) so now I have a bunch of random skeins and colors of yarn. I don't knit lace what am I going to do with lace yarn?
Sometimes I'd rather just get a gift card.
