My husband will occasionally buy me scrapping stuff for Christmas. It will usually be stickers or embellishments. Sometimes it's things that I look at and go "huhh?" I think scrapping supplies are such a personal thing it's hard to buy for someone else unless you really know their style.

Thankfully no. I do have one crafty friend who gives me gift certificates which I much prefer. That way you can buy what YOU want.

I have a scrapping buddy who buys me stuff. And she will also break up packages and share. she recently bought a set of colored pencils for me. When I opened them I discovered there were two of each color, so I divided them up and gave her half back.

My kids will ask what I want and I'm very specific. Last year they got me a couple of the October Afternoon Santa Sacks!

My closest scrapfriend gets me scrap stuff for my birthday and Christmas. Sometimes my husband gets me hermafix refills in my Christmas stocking.
My mom gave me money for a scrap retreat for a Christmas present.

Nope, not even gift cards. Same here. Though one year dh bought me a calligraphy set and thought I would use it for scrapbooking. I do know calligraphy but would never use that ink on my layouts!

DH put together a scrappy Christmas stocking for me last year. He went to Michael's and picked out random things and he did very good! I was shocked!

Gift cards (yay!!) and my hubs would sometimes pick things out when he was at Archivers with me and then give them to me for Christmas/birthday. Usually something I wouldn't have purchased but was nice to have. He also got me my Cameo.

Two of my close girlfriends have bought me scrappy stuff although neither of them scrap so they had to guess at what to buy! Luckily they have good taste in general so they did okay! DH used to buy me scrappy stuff/gift certificates when we had an LSS but doesn't anymore now that the LSS is gone. The people there were so nice, I think he'd go in and ask for their advice on what to buy!

I had a friend at work who loves to shop thrift stores and brings me stuff she finds. I usually can find a way to use it.

DH? No. He doesn't have a clue. But I do have a couple of good friends that find me fun things once in a while!

My mil and sil will buy for me occasionally, but their taste is different then mine. My mil usually gives me Hobby Lobby and Michael's gift cards, which is really nice. Sometimes my daughters will choose items for me too. I always incorporate those items into their layouts.

These days the only scrappy gifts I get are GCs from my younger brother to Hobby Lobby. My mom, sister and I used to buy things for each other when we crafted together more often. And DH used to go by the LSSs and come home with surprises for me. But they are all gone.

Ironically, the worst scrappy gift I received was a HUGE punch from a talented scrapper who runs events and designs kits. I think she got the item on special or possibly she regifted me. It was SO not my style (or hers). Maybe she was having a little fun at my expense? I didn't see it like that at the time but as I have since seen her true colours I think that is most likely FTR the gifts I recall giving her were, respectively, a very special scented candle (she collects them) and a Pandora bead. Perhaps she hated those.

I am pretty particular about crafty supplies. My favorite gifts were Archivers gift cards.

My MIL used to buy me stickers and things like beads and feathers for my crafting but honestly as nice a gesture it was I never used a single thing that she bought me. Crafting is such a personal thing and each person has a style and product type that they prefer, buying scrapbooking products is not something that I would do for others.

My 12-year-old nephew that scraps with me has bought me stuff before. It is either things that are right on the money (Delaware stickers- we vacation in Delaware)or stuff that appeals to a 12-year-old boy, like mustaches. Now there aren't any physical scrapbook stores left so that is probably the end of those presents.

Sometimes my mom or sister buy me things, but they know my taste well. Sometimes I also already have whatever they've given me, but that's no problem as I don't think one can ever have enough gold foil paper or gold Thickers.

My scrappy friends haven't really bought anything for me, but they all are very generous about sharing when we crop together. I like to buy stuff for my friends if I see something on sale or clearance that I think they might like.

Just gift cards. Although my BFF knew to buy me a Cropadile that I didn't have one time. ANd she's picked out Cricut cartridges for me. My DH doesn't even know I have an electronic cutter, let alone which kind.

My family does not, probably because they think I have too much. At work sometimes I get a Michaels card for my birthday or Christmas. However, my dad gives me birthday and Christmas money (and sometimes I Love You money) and I will use it for craft supplies. But not always.
My friends do not either. However on the long ago occasions they have done it. It has been stuff I would not buy, or a gift certificate to CM when they were still alive. Not something I wanted, either. So I am fine getting nothing crafty from them.

My kids buy me "stuff" which is SO not my style - but I always thank them nicely and will try to use them somewhere, somehow. I wish they would give me gift cards, or ask me....

I mean no disrespect to any peas who like the item- one of the full size WRMK Lucky 8 punches. Physically very hard to use, huge to store, just too "frilly" for me. Disclaimer- I was oh-so-nearly taken for a ride by this person and I am working through my bitterness about it. Lesson learned, now all I need is to finally let it go.

My husband has and surprisingly he's done a good job of picking stuff out for me (I think he snooped around my craft room). I also have a friend who scraps and we swap stuff or pick up stuff for each other if we know the other would like it.
