I had a 15% off coupon that I had scrounged up on the internet. But the clerk gave 3 scratch off coupons to me, Sam and Ben. Ben came up with the 30% one, but she was already shoving more toward me when my first 3 came up only 15%.
I figured at the end, she'd ask for a positive online review, but she didn't. She saved me $100.
I did hear several clerks reminding people that their Kohl's cash would not be valid after it expired.

I had extra great customer service at Kohls (actually have never had bad cs there) the last time I shopped. I received a 30% off coupon (knew the online code) in the mail, but didn't have it with me. I mentioned it at the check out and the clerk gave me the discount. I made sure to give her great feedback, as I appreciated the savings and not having to make another trip.

I was shopping at Kohl's before I had a credit card there and the clerk remembered me as her daughter's teacher years ago. She smiled and gave me the friends and family discount saying I counted. Kohl's knows how to get people in their store.

I think they did that once for me, too, when my digging in my purse started to take too long. They're always helpful to me.

The last time I went to Kohl's they had sent me something in the mail saying something to this effect, "Happy Anniversary! Did you remember that 18 years ago today you opened your Kohl's charge? Here's a $20 gift card to buy yourself something nice!" LOL. On top of that there was a 30% off your purchase coupon. I went there and bought a bunch of sale and clearance stuff for myself and for DD for school including TWO pairs of light up princess shoes. They were on a display with a bunch of other character shoes but they didn't ring up as on sale, so the lady did a price adjustment down to what the others were marked which was $15.99 a pair. By the time everything was said and done, I think I paid about $50 for $250+ worth of stuff. The two pairs of shoes alone were $24.99 each at regular price, so it was like everything else was free!

I was at Kohls a few weeks ago and was going to buy a bunch of socks and undies for my DD for school with my $40 Kohls cash I had earned. Only my DH had taken the checkbook out of my wallet and thrown the slip away. The website said they might be able to replace it so I went to CS to ask. The girl there couldn't replace it but told me that since she knew me as a good customer (ack, I shop there too much) to bring my purchases to her and she would credit me the $40. I was blown away by her service because I was just going to eat it if she couldn't replace it. Yeah kohls!
