I have 12 carts and my friend wants to buy them all. I just got a Silhouette so I'm getting rid of it. I know the bug is old but it's never given me a lick of trouble and I have used it quite a lot. So waht would be a fair price for the original Cricut and 12 carts?

I'd check EBay. Unfortunately I don't think they are worth much any more.

As long as your carts aren't rare (like the Hello Kitty one that goes for $200-$300) I would list them for $5-$8 each.

I gave mine and all my carts (about 20) to a friend when I got my Silhouette. I didn't think the bug was worth selling and didn't want the hassle of trying to sell the carts. I had previously let another friend link them on her gypsy, so they probably weren't worth much.

Several years ago I sold Lil' Cricut, three cartridges, 2 extra mats and the green rolling tote to my sister for $40. My niece recently sold her Expressions, 8 carts and mats for $100. I don't think they're worth much. I actually have both Big Cricut and Lil' Silhouette (the portrait) and use them both.

Yes, check out the carts on eBay. If they aren't linked, they are more valuable. I would say at least $10 per cart. I have 125 carts and my friend's husband offered me $40 for all of them. I told him to check eBay before he made an offer like that. And… I wan't offering to sell any of them. I was loaning a few to his wife. Sometimes men are just idiots.
