I'm looking at purchasing the Transcend Auto MiniCPAP for travel. I want this machine specifically because it has a multi-night battery and a solar charger. We "dry camp" and I need my CPAP! (Dry camping is camping with out electricity/water/sewer) I'll be paying out of pocket and the machine, with the solar charger is going to run close to $1000. MY DME guys don't carry this model so I've got a call into my sleep doc (who told me about the machine) to see who he recommends to purchase from. But I'd like to know => If you have this machine does it work OK? Did you purchase from CPAP dot com or another online supplier? TIA.

My husband bought a tractor/riding mower battery for his CPAP when we went camping this summer. The charge lasted a couple nights and would recharge in a couple of hours with a battery charger. Depending how long you'll be gone it might be cheaper to get a couple of batteries.
