I got weighed again at the doctors this morning another 10 pounds. I can't believe I have lost a total of 52 pounds. since I was weighed last November. Most of the weight has been lost since March.

kellybelly77 What wraps do you use for lunch? And do they get soggy if you make them in advance? I use just plain whole wheat tortillas from Natural Grocers. They are in the refrigerated section. Honestly, they do get a bit soggy. Not too bad and it doesn't bother me. I use hummus and spread it out in a thin layer over most of the tortilla and I think it acts sort of like a barrier. Most often I will also put down lettuce on top of the hummus which again helps.
I wrap them up in foil and then just pop one in my lunch bag in the morning.

Great job to all of you! I was weighed at the sleep clinic last week and I have put on almost 10 pounds since January. I have been so lazy. DH got put on a different work schedule so I lost my workout buddy and I have been so overwhelmed with school that I haven't been making it to the gym. I have been eating poorly too. I have decided that starting next week Monday, I am going to try to shoot to go to the gym on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. My classes will be Tuesday and Thursday nights so those are out. But I am going to try to take off the weight I have gained. I wouldn't mind losing another 20 on top of that, but first things first, the 10 I've recently gained need to go.

Since mid April I've lost 11.6 out of 24 I want to lose. I tend to stall out then lose some then stall, etc. I've cut way back on what I've been eating from about 5pm on and it seems to help. I know it's less calories but it seems that my body likes to get the food in earlier in the day. I'm still eating nutritiously and going very light on the carbs and sugar.

I am down 71 pounds since the end of December. Down 7 in August after a 3 week stall the end of June/beginning of July. I had to buy new bras, too. And workout pants. On Weds night before my class, I tried on every pair of workout pants I owned trying to find a pair that wouldn't fall down. Found one!
71 pounds in less than a year is fantastic. What are you doing?
I've been doing low impact cardio 6 days a week and strengthening exercises with weights but I'm kind of stuck these days. I'm maintaining my weight but not losing. I'm pretty sure it's something in my diet not lack of exercise. I have to do low impact because I have bad knees. I see a doctor for my weight loss, but it is this low carb, low sugar diet by Dr. Eric Westman www.amazon.com/Low-Carbohydrate-Ketogenic-Diet-Manual-ebook/dp/B00D3MSJQ4/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1440118174&sr=1-1&keywords=dr+westmanI do 15-30 minutes of yoga 5 days week, ice skate 4 times a week - once a week go to a class called Skate Fit where we do skating but also work on core and arms, and do weight training 2 times a week.

Thanks I'll have to check that book out. Apparently I can get it for free on my Kindle. No ice skating for me. I'd spend all my time on my butt!!

Ashley - I'm curious what you're packing for lunch at work? I could use some ideas. Some recent packed lunches and dinners (using either fake veg chicken or baked tofu): - salad greens, red onion, fake chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, blue cheese, mayo + hot sauce - packed container of raw cut veggies (zucchini, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, cauliflower) with sliced cheese and/or a laughing cow cheese, sometimes with an extra protein. - steamed yellow beans, fake chicken, red onion, chopped tomato, blue cheese. - left over stir fry - asian salad (red cabbage, napa cabbage, carrot, bean sprouts) with peanut butter lime dressing and baked tofu. - zucchini fritters with chopped tomato, green onion, and a spoonful of sour cream

I am on Day 24 of Whole 30 and I absolutely love it! I am not supposed to weigh until the end because it is more about non scale victories. So far, the giant victory for me is that my blood glucose is in the acceptable range for a Type 2 diabetic! Loved reading about everyone!

I've been doing the meal plan and exercise for 21 day fix. It's working for me! I even had a 16 day road trip in the middle where I let myself indulge a little for the 2nd half of July. I've been doing the plan since May 11, the day after Mother's day. So far I've lost 27 pounds and feel like another 3-8 will get me to a good place. The light at the end of the tunnel! One thing I've not read in the thread is in the 21 day plan you drink a lot of water, in my case 100-120 ounces a day. It really helps! In my 20, 30, and early 40's I ranged between 125-135 . . . fast forward to the last 10 years and I've been as high as 174! Started at 165 in May and size 12 and 14. Had to buy new bras a month back as the old ones weren't doing any good Been going through my closet and am on a quest to to sell my large sizes on ebay, my collections of Coldwater Creek, etc. The good news is my favorite 2 jackets were on ebay and in a size 10 that looks great! Hit the big end of the season clearances for size 8 shorts and small tops and scored big! It is so worth it ladies! The meal plan with 21 day fix is easy, and I can modify it to be gluten and dairy free. It is very clean eating so some of my other problems with IBS have cleared up! Makes me wonder why I waited . . . But am glad to be in this place now. I walk my dogs 4-5 times a week about 30 minutes and do the DVD work outs ALL LOW IMPACT and no general no full plank positions b/c of knee and back injuries. At 55 I do not want to derail my progress by injuring myself w/ my exercise. I did twist my low back out with the yoga move and my chiro has given me other options. I also worked w/ a friend who is a physical therapist for low back stretches to help that and my hamstrings. Keep at it ladies and find a plan that works for you. It is worth the effort, as you will feel better!

I have been eating like GARBAGE for the past two or three weeks. And guess what, I FEEL like garbage again! I am totally ok with my little detour away from healthy eating, but I am so ready to get back on track. Starting up again tomorrow! Great work to those of you making progress!

I have had a really unusual week, off my routine and haven't even weighed myself. I don't think I gained but don't think I lost. I'll wait and weigh next week becuase I will get all discouraged when I don't have a loss.

Bumping this up to see how everyone is doing! I reached my goal of 30 pounds lost on Labor Day and now am a bit below due to stomach virus this week. Feeling good and getting compliments!
