It will be interesting to see how many others step forward to say that they were a victim. In the court documents / plea deal it stated he agreed to a $1.4M settlement ($100,000 per person/14 total). There was a $50,000 settlement too, but I can't remember the details. That $15M might dwindle quickly if more underage kids were affected.

Sadly, there are people who do things kinds of things in all walks of life. The only difference is it's not a trending topic online when the perpetrator is just some perv in Small Town, USA.

The issue with Bristol is her taking $ to preach abstinence while not adhering to her own counsel. I agree it's not predatory, but it sure is hypocritical.

I think that is entirely the wrong "PSA".

A PSA is to help the public, therefore the PSA should be that if you have horrible secrets e.g. you rape women, abuse children or animals etc then DO become a pitch person, the more often and the longer you are in the spotlight then the more likely it is that you dirty secrets will come out and you'll finally be held accountable.
The more people that get found out and charged/jailed the better it is for the rest of the public.

Jared was a perv in college, and by the sounds of it, it wasn't a huge secret that he ran a porn rental service through his dorm room at IU. I'm pretty shocked/appalled that Subway would spend millions of dollars on Jared as a spokesperson when it appears that he has always been a twisted fuck person.  I would think that the people behind the advertising campaign would have at least dug a little bit to make sure this guy is who they would want representing them.  

When I read your post, I think that is your way of apologizing for the people on that list some of whom are sexual predators.    I hope I'm wrong.

I'm another who just doesn't buy the "everyone has skeletons" idea. No. Some people truly don't. Unless you're going to define very normal behavior of childhood and growing up which might be mildly embarrassing and something one would prefer to not bring up as skeletons. . .

It's my observation that people who have exceptionally high need for public approval (which I think is required in many, if not most cases of celebrity) also often have poor judgment or decision making skills which translates to skeletons in the closet, or at least dirty laundry that would be best aired out of public.
