Just turned 30 and don't want to look like an old hag in the future. I also think it's too early to spent more than 10 bucks. Any pea recommendation for great but cheap cream? Is it called night cream?

<<<< 49 years old. I have been using plain old school Oil of Olay since I was about your age-along with plain old Dove soap. I think that my skin looks pretty okay for someone my age. (My son claims that I look younger than most of his friend's moms, but he is 17 and may not be the best person to judge. )

Night cream?? LOL! girl! I don't think anyone uses night cream, per say, but maybe a night time moisturizer? I swear by Clinique dramatically different. I use it both in the AM and PM.

Dang, I didn't remember the cheap part. Clinique isn't cheap, but I think it's worth it. your skin is worth spending a bit more on I think.

Coconut oil as a moisturizer if your skin isn't too oily. I've used Clinique for over 40 years

I wouldn't cheap out on skincare. Oil of Olay has been good to me since I was 15.

my mum uses Oil of Olay - she's happy with it.
At 45, I've only just added a morning moisteriser with sunscreen ... not sure I'm ready for another step for the nighttme routine yet
How important is a night cream?

I usually use Dr. Perricone products and they are pricey. I saw this woman about my age who had BEAUTIFUL skin. I asked her what she did and she said she used her regular face wash at night, diluted organic apple cider vinegar (as a toner) and then coconut oil.
I used it for a few weeks and saw a great difference. I am 39 and prone to acne (STILL!!) The coconut oil made my skin soft and the apple cider vinegar seems to be helping with acne spots and preventing more break outs.
I went back to my old routine on vacation and my skin broke out and didn't feel anywhere near as good.
I am back on the ACV/Coconut oil routine.

Is it called night cream? Make sure you are also wearing a daytime moisturizer with sunscreen. I have started my teen girls with Eucerin with 30 spf.

My Derm recommends CeraVe. Mine too. I use CeraVe moisturizers. A.M one in the morning (it has an spf of 30 I think), P.M one at night.

On days I really need more moisture, I'll use the CeraVe cream in a tub, then put the A.M over the top of that.

My face gets kind of oily so I need the moisturizer to not add to that issue. Should I be using a higher SPF during the day? Shit. I use a lot of products with glycolic acid and the sun warnings on them freak me out so much I only use them at night.

Each product seems to have similar packaging but different names. I use one that has some sort of acid in it for really dry skin. What is the facial one everyone uses called?

I use Olay firming night cream, it's about £10 a jar so pretty cheap. Are you using an eye cream? I feel that that's stopped me from descending in to old hagdom too soon

Probably more than you want to spend, but a small jar of When Hope Is Not Enough by Philosophy will run you about $15. I love that it never leaves my skin feeling heavy or greasy. Of course we're all different, but this is my favorite. I have used Oil of Olay and have no complaints with that either. Clinique moisturizer is nice too.

I have dry skin - especially in the winter. I stopped getting dry patches on my face when I started using coconut oil at night.

The product on your skin is not the issue--it's what the product is doing TO your skin that puts you at risk.

No clue why that bit of common sense didnt register. Too many products perhaps?

Welp that settles it I AM going to age horribly. No clue why that bit of common sense didnt register. Too many products perhaps? This is important: I was using the remainder of my alpha -h off the cotton round on the backs of my hands which have age spots. Forgot about the sunscreen even though I am religious about it on my face, neck and chest, and my hands are so much worse as a result. I only hope I can reduce the damage over time. my favourite night cream is olay regenerist and elemis pro-colagen marine cream. I can use both right uo to the lash line of my eyes with no problems. many skin experts say to spend your money on a serum rather than a cream, as serums penetrate better and have higher concentrations of ingredients. I like the regenerist three point serum.i buy the cream and serum from ebay for a fraction of the price I have seen it in Boots.

That's the one I use and I love it. I got it in Boots when it was on promotion, I find a little goes a very long way so in the long run it doesn't work out to be too expensive.

43 here. Just started using Dr. Wexler anti aging products about 3 months ago. My skin has never looked better! I bought their sample kit (40.00) and Bath & Body. I just purchased the regular sized about a month ago. It has worked for me. I even got carded the other day....

I don't use a night cream. But I use Aveeno to wash my face (and plain white Dove soap on my body). I'm 36, no wrinkles here.

my skin is oily (still and I am almost 64!) so I don't use a night cream but I do use Oil of Olay moisturizer with spf during the day. I am not all wrinkly, yet.
