I heard an NOR segment about him, after he was in our region last year. Unfortunately it was after- I'd love to go!

He's not the only one. Dixie Longate has been doing the same thing.

I watched the video. Fun. Interesting that he had the best sales in the country while in California and then moved to Columbus, Ohio. I can't help but wonder how that affected whomever was already selling Tupperware in Columbus. Seems there are several guys who sell Tupperware in drag. Yeah, I agree, good for them...it's business...may the best man (heh) win, etc...but part of me feels bad that the stereotypical "Tupperware ladies" are facing the triple-whammy novelty of men, men in drag, and professional actors. See, it's true: there's somebody who can naysay ANY fun thread here.

See, it's true: there's somebody who can naysay ANY fun thread here. I don't really feel bad for them at all. If they want to be number one, or successful, the stereotypical Tupperware lady has to step her game up... not necessarily with putting on a show but being the very best at what they do. Most Tupperware ladies I have seen just sort of call it in, there's not a lot of effort. So if they are afraid of a novel, interesting approach affecting their business, they need to step up their game and find their own brand and niche to fill.

True. Sales is all about the show when you do home parties and there is plenty of business out there, they just have to find it.

I see the trade other people who went to the same school of eyeshadow application that my mother did. It might have been healthy fore to know that my mother wasn't the only one who did that when I was a kid.

That's awesome! He's putting in the effort and gets double the return: he gets to act and he makes a good living at it. I'd buy from him, just for the entertainment.

Some good friends of ours have a son who dresses in drag to do shows. This would be a great part-time job for him as a college student. He's majoring in theater and would totally rock this.

I've watched a lot of the Dixie Longate videos and they are always a riot. I'm sure all the men in drag love being 'Tupperware Ladies' and put on good shows. It's more fun to buy while laughing!

My friends and I went to a Dixie Longate show a couple of years ago and it was SO much fun. We were in the 2nd row of the theater so Dixie interacted with us quite a bit. This is Dixie:

We have a man in my area that does that too. He goes by Aunt Barbara. I hear it is quite a wait to have him do a party for you.I have not been to one of his parties, but a friend has and says he is very funny.
