I need to put together a book for a friend at Texas A&M. Are there any kits with a lot of maroon or wine colored pieces? I thought Is find something in Project Life since "merlot" is color of the year but haven't seen one. Does it exist and I need to order online?
I bought some A&M papers. She's not a matchy matchy kid, so colors can blend not be exact. I can make it work.
I've got a couple of gift projects in the works- gotta start a separate thread!

I'd start with a PL core kit to mix with the maroon. Midnight is very neutral (black, white, yellow, and grey) and would be a nice base. You might want to check Becky Higgins online shop to see other options too. Good luck.

Thanks icequeen! I think I've got the neutrals covered. I need to flesh out some of the colored pieces. Anyone else spotted some merlot / maroon embellishments or card packs? I can toss in a few old prima flowers - but only a few- need a cleaner more graphic look. I made a quick walk through of JoAnns today. Lots off gold- might play off the famed Aggie ring?

lisacharlotte I was typing while you posted- that's a great start! Thank you! Even if it's too pink or magenta I can probably make themed cards work. Keep the ideas coming! Thank you!!!!!

What about the cinnamon Core kit? I have Those styles would definitely work!, and the black and white would blend. Thank you! There's so much maroon/ wine in the stores for clothing and decor I'm surprised the scrap world hasn't put it in more lines. But I guess that's part of the slow down in the hobby /production we've seen. I've been scrapping since stickers were only thing available, I guess I can go old school and raid the bead and sewing aisles for trims.
