And if I google them on line NONE of them look this way. (although I admit it's hard to get the real effect in a picture.) Attachments:

I know Iowa girl. They usually have that point at the bottom, though some are rounded, but this year the ones I'm getting aren't shaped that way. They are still delicious BTW and I keep eating them whole. But the shape is really interesting. Unless i'm just perverted and no one else sees it. For whatever reason I find it really entertaining. LOL
I guess I am easily amused

okay, I saw that too but decided to go with my non-perverted response, just in case you were really concerned.

Yeah, I think they got too close to the row of bushes/shrubs that someone posted about earlier. They got "envy" and changed form.

I planted those this year, by mistake. I think someone shopping at Home Depot switched tags in the vegetable plants. (Oh what fun, rigt?) I thought I planted patio tomatoes- and I got these and some big variety. I thought I planted grape tomatoes and I got cherry. It's been sort of crazy seeing what comes up.

I think those are pretty. I have a natural affinity for that shape . I grew peppers one year that looked like a little penis and balls.

Do you live in an area of the country that had a lot of the smoke from the Canadian fires?
We had many days of the smoky haze, and it has affected our crops, mainly soybeans. They are extremely tall (not good). It was super smoggy when they were in a critical growth stage, and the lack of sun caused them to grow taller.
I wonder if it is something along those lines?

Huh. I'm super stupid. All this time I thought San Marzano was a brand name of canned tomatoes. I had no idea it was a type of tomato.

I live in NJ but the tomatoes ( from the store) are grown in Texas. What do ya'll have goin in in Texas that would make tomatoes look like....
