I haven't decided what I'll have for dinner yet. It's just me tonight so I'll probably resort to a summer sausage sandwich and some pork & beans. What are you planning?

I have to be back at school tonight for Open House (grrr) so I'll just have to grab a sandwich before I head out again.

We have a school event tonight right before dinner, so I have broccoli cheese soup in the slow cooker. It will be ready for us once we get home!

DH has softball and DS is going to the first home football game (we will have played 2 football games before school starts!), so we will have tacos because they are relatively quick and easy.

I've come down with a sore throat, so chicken noodle soup for me. I made it earlier this year and froze it in single servings. I didn't include the noodles, though. I just put them in single-serve ziplocks and taped them to the individual freezer containers. So I have to thaw and reheat the broth and veggies, then add the noodles to cook.
DH and the kids will be having make your own sub sandwiches and chips.

My parents are coming over to see the baby and are bringing dinner with them. We have a local Italian place that's very similar to Olive Garden and they are bringing that. My dad asked me to look at the menu online and pick something so I picked an chicken and crab pasta in a white wine sauce. Ohhhh yeah.
Although I could just eat the salad that comes with it and skip the $20 entree. So good.

We are having nothing fancy or particularly appetizing! I am making turkey burgers, cottage cheese and a green salad. Someone has packed on a few unwanted pounds and needs to get rid of them asap!!

Bbq'd hamburgers and a green salad. I'm thinking of sending my husband out to Dairy Queen to get some blizzards for dessert .

My granddaughter and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch, so of course we weren't hungry and didn't plan anything for dinner. Now we are both "starved" and have nothing to eat!!

I am making sausage with either pasta or baked potatoes. Haven't decided which yet. And mixed veggies.
Not too exciting.

A big salad. It's too hot in the house to cook.

We had the boys football practice sessions tonight, so DD prepared some frozen chicken and cheese chimichangas for herself and them. I had 2 fried eggs with a little BBQ sauce and toast for dinner when we got home.

We had ham and mushroom omelets with creamy grits. I also made us toast which we usually don't eat, but we wanted an excuse to have some of the blueberry jam we canned recently.

Grilled salmon, roasted cabbage and potato pancakes done on the waffle iron (Pinterest!) How did the potato pancakes turn out? It is too hot here to consider anything other than something cold for dinner so we had a prawn & avocado salad with sourdough bread.

We had home made Thai Chicken Curry Pies.
Fussy DS had tinned spaghetti on toast. Fine by me, it means there's a leftover for my lunch.
