I cannot believe that they gave that kid a pass on the poor construction of that fugly dress that would look good only on super models and I was surprised that the girl that went home did...at least her jacket was cute and that pregnant dress was awful, so I don't think the right girl went home. So far this season I think the wrong person has gone home in all of the episodes.

Wtf? Why did the little boy who can't read a clock won?
I think the right designer went home as her construction was truly awful. If the pregnant dress designer doesn't get her head on right, she's next.
I want to know why was the sparkly basketball jersey dress safe?!?

Honestly, how can so many models look pregnant! That is odd!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It wasn't clever it looked like a poopy baggy diaper! How the heck did Candace or Swapnil not win. They had innovation and finished garment. Also it looks like that is his fall back trick of making a poofy back garment after looking at his portfolio.
I felt sorry for Gabrielle. I think Amanda's speech saved her. Surprised that Lindsey wasn't sent packing. I don't like Blake but he nailed the look as that of a women who stays at home with her cats reading on a Friday Night. If she had swapped the materials it might have looked better.
WTH are the judges smoking? That basketball jersey dress was awful.

I'm just finishing tonight's episode. My favorite dress was Ashley's. While Blake's dress was slightly interesting, it was a major fail in how the back was constructed. I felt Candace's dress suited the challenge perfectly. She was my pick for the win since Ashley didn't make top three.
Lindsey looks like those adorable stuffed animals with the big eyes. She's cute as heck but has the most boring designs! More boring than the guy whose designs are always dubbed, "matronly". She would have been my pick to go home tonight. But I would have also sent Gabrielle home, too. That dress was a joke. The girl with the wrap maternity dress? Blech!

There are no words. When Blake's dress came down the runway, I thought surely he was a goner. And then he won!!! That had to be the most butt ugly dress ever! The back??? WTF? It was hideous. Swapnil or Edmond or Ashley or Candace....any one of them was far superior. The judges definitely were on crack. I'm absolutely gobsmacked that Blake won with that monstrosity. Ugh.

I watched it and thought "OH I'm going to have to check in with the Peas tomorrow! I don't get this at all!" It was quite perplexing. I thought Candace had it in the bag. Even Blake thought he was a bottom look.
I guess I'm an old dusty librarian at heart, because I didn't mind Lindsey's look. Definitely not a winner, but sure as heck beat the sparkly "ass-ket ball dress"!

I know they want to encourage innovation, but what about quality? This reminds me of when they were having that wackadoo win last year with the odd dresses. So basically, if you know very little about quality construction you can win on PR. I thought either of the runner ups should have been the winner. Definitely sent the right person home, though. yikes.

Yeah I'm sort of obsessed with Lindsey's glasses and cuteness, but her clothes so far are a snoozefest. The wrap dress was horrendous -- and I like that contestant. I'm always pulling for her but so far my dog could design a more attractive outfit.

When it started and there was a focus on Gabrielle, I was like "who's she and where was she the last 3 episodes?" I didn't even remember seeing her! That white dress was so awful & she completely butchered that fabric, she was definitely the right one to go home. All the time they were showing Blake I thought his dress was horrible but at the end when it went down the runway, I didn't mind it. I could see what the judges were thinking because it was a totally different silhouette and I didn't disagree with that. It does annoy me though that they are often inconsistent. Sometimes they really care about every bit of sewing and puckered zip and sometimes they are prepared to totally overlook it. I couldn't work put what was going on with Blake though when the whole 'telling time' thing was going on, I was starting to think he was on drugs.
My actual favourite was Laurie's look, well at least it was from the little I saw of it, they never really showed it close up, so it was hard to tell if there were any faults, but I thought it looked great coming down the runway.
Glad they finally got to go to Mood, and it was clear who made the bad fabric choices...although I was worried about what Swapnil was buying, it looked as though he was going to go all tack-o-rama based on his fabrics, but luckily he didn't use most of them.

What I don't understand is that Blake has made that dress before in his Portfolio and that gap so you bootie peak was just unforgivable. His construction was worse than Gabrielle's in that respect. Just ridiculous that he was in the top 3, let alone won.

While I agree with who was sent home, I thoroughly disagree with who won. Honestly none of the designers are really catching my interest this season. Maybe next episode someone will stand out for me.

I thought it was very telling that Blake didn't even know whether he was in the top three or bottom three when Heidi asked him.
I thought Candace's wrap and dress was beautiful and she was the one who really stayed true to the convoluted challenge (put a new twist on a fashion classic, do something architectural, be inspired by Mary Kay cosmetics, etc).

I just finished watching. I was like WTF??? SERIOUSLY? The poopy diaper dress won? It was so poorly constructed and then they overlooked it? The judges were definitely on something that night. Maybe they were drunk? **that would clearly explain to me Heidi's stupidity LOL**
I also thought that it must have been so demeaning for the adults to be criticised by a 17 year old girl. Yeah she's a fashion icon for the young but really, she only is 17. Well, maybe she's a 40 year old woman in a 17 year old's body....
At any rate, Thought Blake's dress was horrid. Ugly, not well constructed, and hideous. Where were the comments about making her ass look huge or making her hips look huge? Still going WTF?
Loved, loved, LOVED, Edmund's jacket. That was so cool and I loved the fabric pattern he chose. So well made and just complimented the model so well. Wish he had have stuck to his jumpsuit as I was curious to see what that would have looked like.
I think Swapnil's confessionals are hilarious. He cracks me up! Loved his dress and wish he had have used the silver as a piping on the straps. Overall though, it was beautiful.
I didn't like Candice's look. The model just ripped off the jacket/top and wore the plain leather dress. I was thinking she should have been safe and Edmund or Ashley should have been in the top. Ashley's dress was stunning and chic.
I thought if Jake had have made a cute mini skirt or shorts with that "dress" it would have been so much better.
I really wish Zac Posen would make up his mind week to week at what he likes and doesn't. He changes his mind about his views every week!
Next week looks interesting with the tye dyeing!!!

I thought the winning look was in the bottom for sure when they asked him what he thought. My vote was on Swapnil although I thought it was a bit too short.
I did agree with the loser though. That was a mess.

Once again, don't understand how the judges are picking top and bottom. And poor Amanda, I told DS I just wish they'd send her home already because it is painful watching them tear her apart week after week, especially when I think there are worse looks than hers. This week's was bad, though. It was a good idea, but horribly executed.

I want to know why was the sparkly basketball jersey dress safe?!? 1. the clock boy can't sew this way out of a paper bag (or into!)
2. The prego dress was awful and now she has been in the bottom 3 weeks in a row. Send her home already!
3. The basketball jersey dress was safe!? Ugh, I could have made that thing in 30 mins.
I thought the girl with the black hair and red lips should have won. Her outfit was very detailed and quite stunning.
And I LOVED Ashley's (purple hair) dress. That was something that real people would buy and wear.

Regarding the sequined jersey dress: I noticed when the camera panned to Heidi, her face lit up when she watched it go down the runway. It's exactly the kind of dress Heidi loves...short and tight!

Yeah, and the fact that Tim called it a Geoffrey Beane knockoff, why didn't they call the designer out on that!

At least Gabrielle tried to do something unique and clever (and of course it bit her in the butt). It didn't work but she tried. Seriously how difficult was it to sew that Basketball top dress? It was a hot mess too. What did he do with the other 8 1/2 hours?

Blake is by far the most annoying contestant this season, which means he'll stick around for the drama. I'm still learning names, but I think it was Candace I thought should have won (black dress with elegant detailing, leather?). I think Amanda will go home next. She probably would have gone this week if Gabrielle's hadn't been so horrible. My 10 year old granddaughter has made dresses that are far better constructed than that monstrosity.

We were dumbfounded when Blake won. He can't sew. That dress was horrible.
I thought for sure Csndace won especially when they said she has a look they recognize.
I didn't mind Joseph's. I like that he used scuba fabric. Not loving Edmund's this week. He loves skin tight & short. I thought the right girl went home. She had too many excuses.
