Love it. I listened to a TED talk once by a linguist who sits on one of the dictionary panels to add new words and revisions. It was very interesting!

I heard another socio-linguist speak once about changing language and she said young women are the main changers of language. It's been that way for a long time.

I heard that story yesterday on the morning radio show I listen to... most of them are crappy and shouldn't be 'real' words, in my opinion.
ETA: I think I also read or heard a story a while ago about the process they go through to make the dictionary yes / no decision, and it was REALLY interesting. I'll have to try and find that again.

hangry was one. I couldn't believe it. Butt dial, I think was another. That word is also ridiculous to me...

I don't like them in the dictionary... urban dictionary sure... but not real legit words... im not impressed... I'm with you. "Mkay" was probably the most offensive (not sure that's the word I'm looking for here) entry to me and followed by awesomesauce (and that one is purely because that phrase is so grating to me. ) I know many of these are just slang, but I feel like it most of them should be left on urbandictionary. I'd be interested in the review
