Since there has been talk elsewhere about being bipolar, I thought I would ask.
I have a few friends who are bipolar. One is in a really bad place right now, and I had a very difficult conversation with her yesterday. I pissed her off I think but I managed to stop myself from saying what I REALLY thought. I talked to a mutual friend who reminded me that our friend wasn't (medically) rational right now, which helped. But my friend is making some very bad decisions and is lashing out at and pushing away the people who have supported her previously. She has had issues finding the right balance of medication, which is further complicated by the fact that she does not follow dosing instructions/self medicates.
My question boils down to, is there anything I can do to help her? WHAT can I do to help her? (Or any of my other bipolar friends for that matter.)
