this season. But I can smell them. And it's not a good experience.
They have that sort of rough leather footbed. They're Clarks.

I put my Birkenstocks out in the sun for an afternoon when they develop that special smell.

My sister swears by vinegar for everything smelly.....maybe a light spritz and a good sun drenched afternoon will help? Maybe start putting a dryer sheet in them when they're off your feet. I just had to wash my Teva flip flops after wearing them camping for 3 days (forgot my sneaks...) I even put them in the dryer. They curled up a bit but felt "recharged"-not as flat and smelled wonderful again.

Didn't you have a stinky leather watchband a few months ago? How did you make that smell go away??

Bicarbonate of Soda left in them overnight and then brushed or vaccuumed out may help.

I can only buy shoes with leather insoles or else mine stink up very quickly! The leather insoles don't stink. The downside is that the shoe choice is limited and they're more expensive. But I'm not embarrassed when I have to take my shoes off at a friend's house.

Spray the soles with some rubbing alcohol and let them dry overnight. We've found spraying works better than wiping with a saturated cotton ball.

First a stinky watchband, and now stinky sandals. Have you considered that maybe it's not the items that stink?
