I just found out that fleece lined leggings for winter are a thing! Glory in the highest. I am always freezing in the winter and never got into wearing plain leggings with boots because they're just not enough fabric between my skin and the winter. I was looking online today and found some that are $7.00 and some that are $78.00. I found a decent looking pair of Steve Madden ones for $26.00. Who's to know online though?
Anyone have a pair they love and are willing to point me to?

I bought fleece lined tights in Walmart and Target last year. Much cozier that plain opaque tights during our Nebraska winter.

I'm probably not much help, but I have a couple of cheap pairs that I got at Walgreens. My dd's really like them, too.

That's what I was wondering - if the cheap ones were wearable. They need to be able to be worn as leggings - with boots and under long sweaters - and look like leggings, if that makes sense. I don't even care that the circumference of my thighs and calves will increase. I just want to be able to wear cute stuff and not freeze my behind off.

Oh they're just wonderful! I get mine from Meijer, something like 2/12 and they've been fine. I had to replace a couple pair late in the season but hey for $6 i'm good! They probably have them online too. It's my winter uniform! ha

Meijer the grocery store? Burying them in the grocery budget would be awesome! What's the brand name, Steph and Lisa and Jili?

I've bought them for DD at Target and Kohl's. I've heard Sears sells nice ones too. Not sure where one would buy them for grownups though. DD really likes them since she can wear them under the sweats or knit pants she prefers to wear.

I have the $5 or $6 ones from Walgreens as well. I used them for skiing, but the material is thick enough that you could wear them with long sweaters. My niece does. They are SO comfy. I don't know the brand name though, just that they were surprisingly awesome for the price.

Watching this thread. I just ordered some from Jane.com and while they seemed really well made for the price, they had a noxious chemical smell that I could not get out so back they went.
Anyone know which brand they are at Target?

I bought some that I love at a place called "Sundance Clothing" in Chatham, Mass. I went to the actual store, but they do sell online. I think they were $15.00 or $20.00

I can take a look when I get there later. They're super cheap and super comfortable. After a few times in the wash the fabric tends to get clingy and they do tend to shrink, but this isn't a problem for me because I typically wear them under dresses or with long tops with boots, so if they're a little short I don't really care.

I'm so glad everyone likes their "drug store" versions. I'm not dreading winter as much now.

I have a pair of Zella leggings that are fleece-lined. They were in the $40-50 range, but they are at least a couple years old and I still wear them all the time. Zella's are my favorite.

I have had the best luck with the $5 walmart fleece tights. They last me all winter and i wear them at least 4 times a week. I also got a pair of gap ones, they are very comfy, and in my opinion very expensive. I don't know how they hold up as i got them at the end of the season.
Eta: i dont wear the same pair 4x a week but i wear tights 4x per week under my skirts and dresses for work. I tried the walgreens fleece lined but they stained my legs, and i didn't realize until it came off on my toilet seat!

I love my fleece lined leggings! Especially nice when doing car duty on a cold morning. I have gotten mine at Target, and some on Jane.com..

I've gotten them from Jane or Groopdealz. I don't think I've paid more than $12. I have a pair that has been through 2 winters and held up nicely.

I have some that I got at a local store, and I have seen them in other places as well. They are really not that thick and don't look bulky while you are wearing them.

I bought my favorite pair ever from LL Bean 2 years ago and they've held up well. I also love fleece lined black tights with skirts in fall/winter.
