Does anyone have any scrappy weekend goals for this weekend.
I do but I don't have a lot of time this weekend so I am trying to be reasonable.
- catalog my punches (Totally Tiffany like) - I don't have a lot of punches so I think I can knock this out. - prepare my five explosion boxes that I made (over a month ago), to send to my sisters and my granddaugthers - Upload and order photos that i have taken for my "Wacky National Day Celebrations Projects, and photo enlargements that I want to have framed for my new office.
I think I can get that much done this weekend. How about you? A few things on your list you would like to cross off this weekend.

Cards. I need to make cards.
I did spend about 2 hours in my craft room today cleaning off my desk and starting to cut card stock for said cards. So maybe I'll get them made.

Great thread! Putting it down on 'paper' will encourage me to finish.
1) Finish sorting and putting away orders that have come in this week 2) Spend a TV show worth of time sorting my yarn and patterns into project bags 3) Get many vacations worth of old negatives together to turn in to Walgreen's for a CD I can get reprints from, and drop them off 4) Do journaling on a page that is finished save for that 5) Finish putting details on an unfinished page 6) Spend a TV show worth of time on cards 7) Go through photos only albums and find a set that doesn't need reprints or enlargements and scrap a page 8) Scrap one PL type page for my brother 9) Pack up a few returns
My husband is at his annual fantasy football retreat until Sunday afternoon so I have lots of me time!

After reading the thread on scraps I'm determined to throw mine out. I know I have a lot of patterns that don't appeal to me anymore and I don't want anything that's not useful cluttering up my space. That's all I'll have time for since we're moving on Tuesday. I'll be packing all weekend. Jealous? Lol

dewryce, I like how you measure time (one TV show worth)! Thanks! I recently came up with a list of crafty things I have been neglecting, and they really impact my fun and productivity. Then I added the fun things to it. Everything is either a task (add journaling, complete a layout, etc) or by TV show (cards, organize negatives, etc.). I have to complete the cycle before I can get to the fun stuff again. It has worked amazingly well so far, and with the time limit on my least favorite tasks, I feel motivated rather than overwhelmed. It feels awesome to know that I am making progress! And because the next time that task is tackled is already 'scheduled' the weight of feeling that there is something else I should be doing or that I'm never going to finish is lifted. And I get tons more completed during the length of a show than I expected!

I was thinking about doing a little treat/something special for my kid's teachers at least once a month…so I need to come up with ideas and make cards and a shopping list.

Aggiebonfire00, I like your idea to make a teacher treats.
I would like to get my room straightened up, complete the layout on my desk, and mess around with the August paper pumpkin kit.

Here are my scrappy goals for the weekend: * Make (but more importantly, SEND) two cards. * Upload a few pics to a FB buy/sell group so I can destash a bit. * Add a few things to my crafty giveaway pile (more destashing).
Good luck everyone!

Love the idea of setting goals. I'm working all weekend so won't get anything done now, but I need to upload and order some photos first of the week. I also need to get DH's phone and download some photos off of it to the computer. Good luck everyone getting your tasks accomplished!

I would like to get all my PTI dies catalogued in Evernote.
I would like to remove the snaps from the CTMH stamps that I have catalogued in Evernote.
I'm loving Evernote!
I'm also hoping to make blackberry jam with the berries I got tonite from Bountiful Baskets.
I also am working on a display in my kitchen of recipes. I may give that a few minutes this weekend.
I have been looking forward to this weekend all week!

I have to finish unpacking and setting up my scrap room - we just moved. I am also purging using the Konmari Method as I go.
I'm also unmounting all of my wood stamps and storing them a la Jennifer McGuire. I've unmounted about 10 iris cases full of stamps so far and have about 6 to go - I can't wait to be all organized! I love this system already!!

I have a couple Sunday goals... we'll see how much of it I get done! (if I get at least one of them done, I'll be happy- my stretch goal is two of them... lol!)
1) edit and print out photos for at least 3 layouts I have in the works and design the photo arrangements (I'll most likely use SG sketches to make it easier).
2) unearth my desk and get all my Iris boxes back on the shelves where they belong in my room.
3) finish the typing / journaling for a couple layouts that are almost complete except for that.

It seems like this would make them much easier to use and get great results using the newish stamping tools, but I am afraid I'd really mess up my stamps. And I love love love the way she organizes everything and can see myself using some things more often, especially regarding cards and stamping in general.

The unmounting process is easier than I thought. I just try not to stress too much. I'm trying to keep the foam on the rubber but sometimes the rubber just peels right off. I laminate card stock (5x7) and put the cling stamps onto the laminate. On the other side I put the image sticker that I've peeled off the wood block. I haven't ruined any stamps yet and I've unmounted hundreds. I do have a blister on my finger from it though! I've fit about 10 iris cases worth of stamps into 2.5 Linus fridge bins so far - incredible!

Oh -let me add that I think I will use my stamps so much more. I can just flip through them so fast and easy - I'm rediscovering so many stamps. I had mostly Stampin Up stamps, and I did break up the sets and organize them by category.
With the newer SU stamps that came in DVD cases - I'll keep these together as sets but I'll move them to the fridge binz system as well.

marg thanks for all of the information. Can you still use them if the foam layer comes off? That is a huge space saver! I like the idea of laminating cardstock to place them on. Another way to integrate pretty color

I did have a goal. I was going to crop and I was going to start my scrapbook on Italy. But when I got there, the space was so tiny but there was no way I could scrap. Instead I worked on cards and a Halloween banner project. And my scrapbook still has not been started

You can definitely use the stamps without the foam - some companies sell their stamps like this - but I have to investigate the best way to do this still. Putting a foam pad under the paper may work.

Working on my Halloween marque shapes. I still need to glitter the outside and add lights and they will be done. These were so much fun. I haven't played with glitter in a long time.
I have been working on Christmas gifts as well. Two chipboard boxes with 24 chipboard squares in each of them. Added scrapbook paper to them as well as photos on half. Just need to let glue dry. Then sand them down. I had hoped to finish both this weekend but it just didn't work out but I feel great that I did something crafty. I figure I spent at least 10 hours being crafty.
It was a crafty weekend as hubby and son were making trees for their train layout.
