A few years ago, my DH and I went to a Morroccan restaurant called Marrakech that was really fun and different. It was in the city, and I thought it was super cool. I remember the food being pretty good and there was a belly dancer performing during dinner. The bar left a little to be desired, but other than that, I liked it. If money were no object, I would highly recommend The Inn at Little Washington. OMG! Best evening and dinner ever. www.marrakechrestaurantdc.com/welcome.htm

That's a really large area and Chantilly isn't right next to DC. Will they be staying in Chantilly? If so, do they want to make the trek into DC just to eat dinner? Maybe they'd like dinner in DC and then some sightseeing? Or would they rather stay in Virginia? Us local folks could probably make some good recommendations if we knew where they'll be and how far they want to travel to eat.

I second the Inn at Little Washington. Might also check out the WP DC Dining Guide for recommendations.

If you want to stay in Chantilly or the area my favorite places nearby are Vapiano at Dulles Town Center or any of the Great American Restaurants in the area, reliable and reasonably priced. Artie's in Fairfax City being my favorite but Ozzie's at Fairfax Corner having an interesting variety on the menu.
ETA I think Vapiano moved to Reston.
