...as Pat Buchanan once referred to us (and I love it; I love it for real: I've been proud to call myself a Soviet Canuck ever since...). Scott Walker has finally recognized the threat of some fierce and crazy Canucks brandishing hockey sticks whilst attempting to drive across the US-Canadian border. And all I can say is, 'It's about time.' It's about time you Americans recognized the very real threat of some Canadians, hell-bent on bargains, doing some commando cross-border shopping trips to a Target in upstate New York, or maybe in northern Minnesota. The discounts on TP and paper towels are what should you alert to an international conspiracy, in the first place. If Canadians can get a bargain on paper products, can world domination be very far behind? I should probably add that we Canucks can survive in the backwoods (without a Cricut, or any scrapbooking supplies at all!), for a surprisingly long time. We're tough, and acclimated to a northern climate, like that. We even have, like, lots of hunting rifles, eh? though we're not so big on the three Gs (Guns, God, and Glory). We only ask of our young lads that they prove themselves reasonably sane, and a reasonably decent shot. Apparently Scott Walker wants to build a wall between the U.S. and Canada. Well, God love his heart, and fair play to him: www.cnn.com/2015/08/30/politics/scott-walker-northern-border-immigration-2016/

Also: if you try to cheat at hockey, that's when shit gets real.

Well bless his pointy little head. He's special isn't he? I think he's afraid of the poutine.

I feel the need to clarify I'm 'liking' what you wrote, marykate, not the wacky idea of foozie whatchet.

I want to build a wall between Minnesota and Wisconsin so I don't have to fear Scott Walker invading with his idiocy.

Ah... It's our legalization of Kinder eggs and freewheeling ketchup chip consumption... I doubt American beer drinkers want all the good stuff on the other side of a wall

We are just harbouring a bunch of beer drinking, hockey loving, maple syrup covered terrorists up here. But then again, our own Prime Minister thinks the same thing so what are we to do, eh?

Now that I have Nexus I make it a point to declare whatever ketchup or dill pickle chip I am carrying over the border just to amuse myself. Last fall Vancouver was awash in Ketchup Doritos.

Maybe it will be a ice wall like on a Game of Thrones. Keep all the snow & ice up here?

Walls can be built to keep people out or keep people in... With all our maple syrupy goodness, maybe the wall is designed to keep the Americans from leaving and immigrating here?

From what I have read it is to keep the terrorist Canadians from coming into the USA.
I wonder if he has talked to the Gov. of Michigan about the new bridge connecting Michigan to Windsor debacle. That is an interesting situation.
Maybe if this wall was built, it would keep out the Americans that claim that they want to move to Canada whenever their president or congress or senate makes a ruling that isn't popular. It is funny to read that some of the peas will just up and move to Canada, usually joking.
Does this mean that all the Canadian NHL players will be forced to play for Canadian Hockey teams? - That would really make some great hockey in Canada.

He's right to not let us crazy Canucks in, all we do is argue. Sorry you go first. No sorry you go. No really go ahead. Are you sure, no you go. He's probably just scared he might find a contraband Kinder Surprise and choke on it.

Yeah. But who is going to pay for this wall?? If Scott Walker was smart he would say that the Canadians are going to pay for the wall......it's only fair since The Trump thinks he can get Mexico to pay for the southern wall.......LOL

Wait, it's to keep US out of the U.S.A? Then what's with all the Americans washing up on the Lake Ontario shore in inner tubes? Hardly a week goes by where I haven't rescued at least one Rochester refugee. I've got like, four of them in my spare room as we speak.

I'm from the northern part of Wisconsin, and you've just described 95% of my relatives and co-workers. (Although in addition to the hockey, we love our football.) I just cannot understand how that man was ever elected governor in the first place.

Canadian refupees..... thanks for the lovely sense of humor. Thank goodness there doesn't seem to be much of a chance that Scott Walker will ever take his crazy ideas national. Speaking as a born and bred Washingtonian.... we love our Canadian neighbors.

I think someone watched too much of a certain South Park episode.
I'll just leave this right here to further his cause.
