I got a new laptop and have downloaded the latest Silhouette software. Someone told me there is a way to get all of my purchased files uploaded to my new machine without having to put them on an SD card from my old machine. Is there a way? Directions? Link?
Thanks!

If you downloaded or updated to Version 3, the backup is super easy. Unfortunately, I am not at home and cannot give directions from memory (I only did it once so far), but I assume you can find the instructions in the FAQ section of the Silhouette site.
Allow a long time for the process if you have a lot of files. I had a lot of files, and it took a lot longer than I expected.

Got this from Silhouette Studio FAQ - I did this and everything went smoothly. Good Luck!!!!!
You may alternately manually backup your entire library, including the library folder structure (in V3.0 and higher) by going to the File > Library > Export Library menu option. This will save a file of your library in a backed-up format. This file can then be re-imported by going to the File > Library > Import Library menu option. As you import, you will be required to authenticate any purchases made from your account. This feature does require an active internet connection. Failure to authenticate your account information will disallow content obtained from the account in question where the original purchase was made.
