I love using embossing folders, especially for cards. As I was reading past posts, I saw that stores had clearanced them out. Are they getting new packaging or???

I just bought a new one from Taylored Expressions that was part of her last release. I thought it would be good for sympathy cards.
Stampin' Up had some new ones in their new annual catalog and in the Holiday supplement.
So some companies are still offering new designs but maybe they are just not as popular as they once were. I know I don't use them much anymore.

I love the new extra deep impression ones from WRMK And that arch-enabler Jennifer McGuire did a technique video using them with distress ink and perfect pearls that was really pur-ty-on her blog

Love some their designs also. Totally need to get a few of those.

I still see tons of them in the stores. I don't think they're going away any time soon. I need to use mine more too, but I will once I get settled and start getting busy making cards with all my scrap paper!

I am not buying as many because I own well over 100 So I need to keep using them. I like having texture in my cards that don't add a lot of bulk!

Need to use them more, but I need more of them too. I'll have to check out the JM technique.

As a simple, paper-intensive scrapper (i.e. usually a cardstock base, extensive journaling, photos, memorabilia, & flat embellishments, such as patterned paper, labels, alpha stickers, etc), I frequently use embossing folders. Most of my embossing folders are classic patterns (e.g. chevron, stripes, polka dots) that add texture to my layouts. I also noticed the big box stores/chains, except Hobby Lobby, have decreased their selection recently. ETA: To those looking to start/add to their collection, posters on the Sept Tuesday Morning store thread report some locations currently have embossing folders in stock!

I still see embossing folders at the stores. I have a ton and this year I added TH shaddow press folders to my collection. I also just ordered the We R next level embossing folders that creates great 3D effects.
