Unfortunately I was not gifted in the gift & talent category I take that back, friends do compliment my ability to research, find info, find deals & sales. They contact me when looking for a specific need or item. You would be welcome at the dinner table here...we love a lively discussion about where to find XYZ for the best price with which bells and whistles and best guarantee etc. Voices get raised, iPads come out, Consumer Reports get brought to the table and it's good fun! Deep philosophical discussions why XYZ car or computer or TV or sofa is better.

I suck at math but am good with numbers. Mainly memorizing numbers. I had an office job and had remembered all the employee numbers and their coordinating truck numbers right away the other secretary there couldn't believe it as she had been there for years. Then I worked at the grocery store doing all the pricing, sales etc. Dealing with bar codes, each company has a unique first 5 digits (like the prefix for each phone number area) and last 5 digits for the products. I'd just know the first 5 so I could just remember the last 5 until I got back to my desk and could write them down. Not that memorizing numbers is that great of a talent but I didn't want to say nothing I'm like that with numbers too (not so good when I make them equations). I memorize exit signs and know how many miles to go. I memorized people's credit card numbers and phone numbers too. I think I am also pretty good with sex because my husband does a lot of housework.

Jane Goodall taught me how to do a lemur call. I can lift my big toes up to a 90 degree angle away from my other toes. I can research the hell out of anything, and I can teach myself how to do almost anything.

I can touch my nose with my tongue. My mom could and my dd can as well.
I pretty much always know what time it is within 5 or 10 minutes. Used to freak DH out but now he just expects me to know the time.

When I sit on the floor or ground I always tuck my legs back so that my ankles are touching my hips. People find this amazing but I've always sat that way. Are used to do that. I couldn't even lay down like that. However in my later years, arthritis doesn't even allow me to kneel on the floor anymore

i can burp on command and I can move just my pinky toes. Really useful and cool talents, not! My daughters (and all of their dance friends) can pass any kind of gas on demand! I feel sorry for their dance teacher, the smell! The girls think it's talent! They certainly didn't get it from me or my husband. My daughter is also proficient at this. When she and my son were little and accompanied me to the supermarket, he would dare her to go and fart near a someone in particular, and she always obliged. I stopped bringing them shopping with me.

I have excellent fine motor skills with both hands. I'm left handed but can fussy cut, thread needles, untie itty bitty knots in fine chains or threads, etc. using either hand. My friends at crops are always amazed with the fussy cutting. If my left hand gets tired, I just switch hands and continue on. Lol!!!

Play a sport really well? Musical? Art? Really excel at something some people don't "get"? My talent lies in music. I had classical vocal training.

I read really really fast. It helps with leisure reading but not educational/textbooks. Me, too. It is hard to slow down when reading textbooks.

Yes I teach preschool and they are forever sitting in a W. Teachers were always told to correct this and tell them to sit cross-legged or cross cross applesauce. Well, we had a workshop this summer from a behavioral therapist. Turns out her opinion is children who choose to sit in a W are a little off balanced in their world and this position rights their world. Interesting? I was a W sitter. In my case, I had juvenile arthritis in my hips and could not sit cross legged. I don't understand the big push to correct it.

I can pack items into spaces no one believes will fit. Cars, boxes, suitcases...anything. My husband finally stopped arguing with me about it and now just moves things around as I ask and looks at me in awe when everything fits Tetris for adults! I really needed you to help when my 18 yr. old daughter moved into her dorm 2 weeks ago! They have 3 girls in a small double! When we first saw the room, I almost took her home. The school set up the room so there was no walking space! One of the moms was in the military, so she knew how to make use of no space! The moms moved the 3 dressers, 3 desks and 3 beds and it looks better now. You could really come in handy helping kids arrange their dorm rooms! Awww, I understand the urge to drag her back home with you! That sounds like a fun challenge. I love trying to figure out how things will work the most efficiently. It's a sickness I tell ya!

I play banjo, autoharp, and hammered dulcimer. Most people don't really know what the autoharp or hammered dulcimer are, and the banjo just gets me banjo jokes.
I can also wiggle my ears.

I can still dance on pointe as an adult. When I was young I balanced for over 4min on pointe in attitude. I still have a decent balance.

I'm really good at rhyming. I can make up a silly song to a myriad of tunes to fit any situation, lol. It annoys the crap out of my family, but my youngest DD also has this skill and has been using her powers to annoy her sister. I'm not sure that is an actual "skill" but it is fun to serenade people in the TSA line to the tune of "Hey Jude" with lines about shoes and pat downs. Tell us how the Hey Jude TSA song went! What were the lyrics?

I have a horrible singing voice - my youngest DD actually told me that when she was a child and I would sing her a lullaby she would be thinking "Please don't sing, Mummy, please don't sing" - LOL ! But, I can whistle a tune perfectly. My Dad was a whistler and that's where I get it from. I can also whistle to the birds and have conversations with the cardinals and the robins.

I am a woman of many talents. I can deliver a baby, wiggle my ears (even one at a time), sew by hand or by machine, and can also tie a cherry stem into a knot with my tongue. No, not all at the same time... well, maybe but I think the nurses would not let me bring a sewing machine into the OR or delivery rooms.

I'm really good at memorizing phone numbers and have been since I was about 4 years old. Our first phone number was Elgin 3601 and my Grandmother's was Dickens 83400. When I was 4 years old, I tried to call my Mother, who was at my Grandmother's house. The operator told me to quit playing with the phone and to get my Mother. I quickly proceeded to tell her that I was calling my Mother, and she put the call through. I bet I have about 500 or more phone numbers memorized!

i, too, always know what time it is - it's just an innate feeling i suppose
i am also very good with direction - i rarely get lost - or even make a wrong turn
(when i 'look' at an area i tend to see it as you would from an ariel view - and that helps SOOO much when trying to figure out how to get somewhere)
and my husband still asks 'are you sure?'
we've taken the same route to wisconsin for twenty years and he still questions me
