I haven't kept up much since dumped Cricut and went to Silhouette. The Explore does sound like a nice machine. Do you think they will ever have their software available as an "offline" option?

There was talk about the offline option at the last crop I attended. I finally caved and bought an Explore mainly because I have so many Cricut cartridges. It's a very nice machine. I also have a Silhouette which I love. If the Explore could do image shadowing I'd probably use it exclusively.

I absolutely love the Silhouette software. I do a lot of print and cut projects, and it is just amazing what can be done so easily with the Studio software. Love the large sizes you can do with P&C also, since I have a larger printer.

I've never been able to get Print-to-Cut working with my Cricut Explore and Design Space...not sure if it's because 8.5x11 is not the standard print size where I live, or the result of user error, but every time I try to print via the Design Space process, it's the wrong size. So I'd like a new version to help me figure that part out!

Chrome 8hx5.5w FireFox, Safari, IE 8.5hx6w They have said that they are working on making the sizes bigger.

I think yes. Once they get the iPad to be able to work offline, it will be easier to get the computer to. They have said they will try to work on that. They did listen to their customers better now. I got an Explore last Christmas and don't regret. I have fast internet and it hardly ever goes out on me (I do live in a rural area so it happens time to time). I do love how small the Explore can cut. I love to be able to bring my images into Design Space and have used the Print and Cut function for several projects now. I do lots of vinyl words for a friend of mine who needs them for her Window art. She was happy to find out I could cut smaller now.

I can't get it to work at all (user error, no doubt) so I'll need to keep playing around, I guess.

I'm with I love my Cricut and have found a lot of my answers there about the Explore. Members are very helpful in these kind of groups. We have 3 admins that you can tag anytime to ask a question. They all have YouTube channels too which can be very helpful.
