Just walked past my 5 year old DD's bedroom. She is narrating an imaginary scrapbooking process video!  She has her scrappy supplies out on her desk and is just chatting away...explaining what she's making and where she is going to put it on the page. It's too adorable! Oh wow! Love it! My 6 yo dgs does that with his Lego sets. He just attended a camp this summer where they got to make stop action videos with Legos and he has continued at home. Sometimes I stand around the corner just to listen!

When mine was about three, she would mimic doing the Disney Collector unboxing videos that she liked to watch on YouTube and it was hysterical! Just last week she discovered that she could record herself with the cameras on DH's old iPad Mini and within about a half hour she filled up ALL of the available memory on the thing with her odd little videos. Now she has them memorized and won't let me delete them!  |
