So happy she is well enough to now go forward with the treatment she needs! Chemo drugs and the drugs given to prevent chemo side effects can be very constipating. Hope things start moving in that direction!

We were able to Move to a regular room this evening and she is starting to walk a little bit more independently--which is amazing to see! Still trying to get her poor belly to go down some. Hoping with more movement we can get more "action" down below. Thank you again for keeping all of us and her medical team in your thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate all of you pulling for her! Yay!!!!!!!!!

Update 10/4 Lots of ups and downs. It seems like when we get a handle on one thing another problem pops up. There are ferritin levels that had come down from 2200 to just over 200 and now they are back to almost 2000n a matter of four days. I feel like we take one step forward and two back. They are also concerned because of the amount of urine she is producing and how much sodium is there so now we have the endocrinology team as well. It seems nothing will ever be straight forward with this and it is exhausting. I think her levels increasing again so rapidly has just left me so drained and depressed. Ugh this is awful. Thank you for letting me vent. It is just so hard feeling so helpless when you see your baby so critically I'll.

I'm so sorry you are on this roller coaster ride. I can feel your fear and exhaustion in your post. Please take a moment for yourself. Get a special coffee, a new book to read, a coloring book, something to ease you mind and let your soul rest for a moment. Can your DH come and relieve you for a little while? I know it sounds impossible but you must take care of yourself so you can be strong for her.
Know that we are pulling for you all and think of you often. I hope you can feel our virtual hugs.

Hugs. So sorry that things are still so up and down. Are you able to get a few minutes of absolute rest? I hope that you can, so that you get relief from the pressure. We're behind you, shescrafty!

Vent away. Sweet Phoebe is on all of our minds. How is she doing herself? Do you have people to sit with you? Be there for you? I don't even know if you have other kids. I wish I were nearer and I'd come clean your bathrooms (I know that sounds weird - but I just want to do anything to help!) Continued prayers...
