What am I thinking?!?!? haha!!
I've been using a Erin Condren Life Planner for the last 18 months and told myself I would NEVER be one of those crazy planner ladies who goes wild and starts decorating her planner. Well in the last week I've subbed to The Planner Society kit club which starts for me next month (I can't wait!!!!) and I bought my first Filofax earlier this week. I've been stalking YT and Etsy for anything I can learn about Filofax inserts, dividers, etc... What's my problem???
I swear it was following Christy Tomlinson's IG feed for The Planner Society that did me in. I'd look at the pictures when I first started following her and think they're beautiful but who in their right mind needs more than one planner?!? She's a master at marketing. It only took me about 3 months to get sucked into her world and I can't wait.
Anyone else have a similar journey? I'd love to hear how you "crossed over" and if you're having fun? Also, anyone else here sub to TPS? Do you love it?
Can't wait to hear from y'all....kara

Welcome to the dark side! I've subbed to The Planner Society Kits from the very beginning. It is by far my favorite sub. Christy is amazing!! She's the reason I crossed over too. I swore I wouldn't become planner obsessed yet here I am!! hehe

I haven't subscribed but I follow Christy on Instagram and love the stuff she does for the kit. I've been tempted to get a sub and just use the kit for scrapping, but not sure if that would really work.

I haven't subscribed but I follow Christy and agree TPS kit is amazing. If I was going to sub to anything, that would be it. But I use my Travellers Notebook mainly for lists so am *not* going to start decorating it!

I think I am just surprised at people's need for planners. Now this is just me because I wrote on a calendar on the fridge and called it good. If I need to remind myself of something important to remember, I put it on my phone. I had two kids in a ton of sports and things going on most days, but I thought the calendar was good. I worked full time and pretty much was either at work or at a sporting event for years. I am not judging the love of planners since I am very left brained and want/need things organized. Is the love of planners for you the check something off or the need to write something down or just wanting to make something you have to do look pretty? Do you toss them at the end of the year? I just wonder what people do with planners. Now I do judge the person who needs 11 planners. I have seen that on YouTube and that just amazes me. I will heartily admit that I am a list person for sure. I love to check things off.

I use a Traveller's Notebook to house 3 notebooks - one is a shopping list, one a general 'to do' list that's not necessarily time sensitive (anything that's an appointment or needs a reminder I put in ICalendar) and one is for making notes for craft projects I'm working on. I don't use a planner as my calendar because I really like that to be digital. I went for a Travellers Notebook because I don't want the full-on planner experience, but it's a useful way to keep all my notes organised. I had my lists on odd bits of paper and kept losing track of them.

I have read about the Traveller's Notebook, but really don't know what it is.

I use my calendar and reminders on my iPhone but I'm more consistent writing what I need to do daily and appointments when I write them down on paper. My current ECLP is not decorated at all. I use a pencil only. I like the different dashboards and dividers you can change out as often as you want. That's really all the decorating I plan on doing. I don't use it as a memory book but I do keep my calendars. I have wall calendars from early 2000's.

The Planner Society kit looks awesome! I could definitely use that kit not only for my planner, but for scrapbooking, cardmaking, and PL as well. It's so pretty!
I just found out about Erin Condren Planners this summer and bought an 18 month one. I love it. The vertical one with the 3 separate daily sections works just how I think - one section for appointments, one for daily notes on my son's health, medication, and supplements(he's recovering from 2 years of illness), and my own health stuff, and one section for stuff to get done that day.
I really enjoy using it, and I love that I can make it pretty, too. It's like getting a little bit of scrapping done every day.

Ok i had a planner years ago and I wrote in it everything under the sun.
Stopped.
Then thought planners are unnecessary. And perhaps a waste of money.
Now I have an EC, Staples blue one, LV monogram personal, and a Filofax A5 in teal.
I want kits to decorate my planners now. Help!!!!!

i have everything in my planner. also use a sojourner from retrowtures for notes and lists and what not. i just decorate a little bit and use it mainly because i need to see everything in front of me and because i love to cross things off my lists (it adds to my sense of accomplishment) it helps with that. i don't have multiple planners because that would just be too much for my wee brain to handle!
