Does anyone have one of these and use it in their scrapbooking room? I was gifted one that has 12 drawers and my initial reaction was hooray! But now I'm wondering how useful it will be. I'm the person who needs to see my supplies and currently I've got stuff in clear bins/baskets. I'm worried that things will be forgotten in those little drawers.

Lucky, lucky you! I think it depends on how you work and what kind of stuff you use. Personally, I would use something like that for all of my smaller tools that end up scattered everywhere. Things like paintbrushes, hole punches, eyelet setter, extra scissors, Dymo imprinter thing, piercing tool, wire cutter, post it notes. Or I would use it in my sewing area for spools of thread, sewing notions, embroidery floss and that kind of thing.

I love the look of them but for me it wouldn't be very functional. I don't keep thing in small containers/groups. The wide architecture plan drawers are a better fit for my organization style.

I like @crazyforscraps idea of using it for tool storage. You could also use it for embossing powder, glitter, extra adhesives and stickles.

I have always wanted a card catalog - lucky you!
I would use it for tools and extra supplies, like adhesive.
I have a 27 drawer cabinet that originally held office forms, so all the drawers are 9x12x2. I use it for everything that is not in an Iris box by theme. So, eyelets, brads, enamel dots, stickles, twine, etc.
Since all drawers are labeled, it's easy to find things.

There are many crafters who would love to find one of those! I have a 6-drawer apothecary chest, which is similar, but the drawers are probably a lot bigger than yours. Mine has brads, adhesives, pens, tools, and paints. I don't like having all of my supplies out, so it works well for me.

Awesome gift! If you choose not to use it in your scraproom, they work well in an entry, library, home office, or pantry. A friend has one the same size in the drop zone of her mudroom; it neatly houses & labels everything they need to grab & go (e.g. keys, change, phones, trial sized tissue packs, spot remover, mints). Another friend appropriately displays her 6-drawer catalog in her reading nook & stores various style/colors of bookmarks, post-its, pens, pencils, highlighters, etc. A different friend has a large one in her family's shared computer space; it stores all sorts of office & school supplies. Yet another friend organizes spices in a huge antique situated in their scullery/pantry.
While realizing that I may be the only person in our circle of friends without a card catalog, hope you put your new treasure to good use!

I have a huge one and I use it for items that I don't reach for al the time because of the out of sight out of mind mentality too. I keep embossing powders, tools, fabrics, extra adhesives, pens, etc. mine has the pull out shelves too, so it also serves as the die cutting station. I keep my evolution on top. I just go a small two drawer metal one I use for pl cards.

I love the look of them, but not the sort of thing that would fit in my small room. Lovely gift though. Hope you can put it to good use

I always thought I wanted one, but in the end, I much prefer the clean look, and wider drawers of an Ikea Alex cabinet. I'm glad I've never found one. Opening up a couple of larger drawers to find get what I want, rather than a bunch of small ones works better for me.

I'd love one... I could see myself using it to store things like embossing powders, glitters, inks, etc... Things that I have samples/swatches of, and don't need to see the actual product...
Or for seasonal things... I have a ton of Christmas stuff that I pack away into my closet, but having it sorted yet still away would be nice...

I have one in my craft room and it's super useful and functional. Oh, what a treasure! I don't have one, but if I do I will most likely use it for embelishments and small supplies.

Wow @ papersilly! That's a beautiful piece of furniture! Mine isn't that big by far but I decided to add it in to my room. I'm halfway through reorganizing and regretting it lol

I actually have three... I have one that is an 15 drawer one that I have all my ink pads in it sorted by color. It still has a few drawers left that I haven't decided what to put in there. The other is a 72 drawer one that I have all my embossing stuff, extra adhesive, stamps, and a some embellies sorted by manufacturer - Heidi Swapp, Tim Holtz, Amy Tan, Dear Lizzy, etc. The third is a 60 drawer one that I have all of my washi tape, punches, some sizzix dies, and theme embellies in - like Christmas, birthday, Valentines, Easter, Halloween, baby stuff. I love them...I don't know where I would put most of the stuff if I didn't have them.

Oh...how lucky! I would love to have one but have no space for one.
If I did, however, I could see it holding all sorts of things - not just SB stuff. My crochet stuff, too, and any other crafty endeavor I attempt.
