Hello all, Looking for any and all hotel recommendations in London. We will be there for 2nights then heading to Paris. Nothing to expensive, but not a hostel either lol.
I think I have hotel for our Paris stay. Don't know if we will stop any where else on our way to Rome.
We will have a week to go from London to Rome.
Any help would much be appreciated!

In Paris, we stayed at the Hotel Esmeralda. Lots of charm--NOT an American style hotel. Has a view of Notre Dame. www.hotel-esmeralda.fr/en/It only has 14 rooms, IIRC. Are you going by train to Italy? If so, take the train through the Swiss Alps. (Glacier Express is wonderful)

What's your budget per night for London? Bit like asking whet to stay in NY which isn't too expensive and not a hostel!
Also check out some of the TA forums, they will also have great advice for you.

We stayed at Luna & Simone in London (Rick Steves recommendation, discount for cash payment). It's in a great location, plenty of walkable sites and right near both Pimlico and Victoria tube stations.
In Paris, we've stayed (3 times) at Hotel La Sanguine. Small, not fancy, but an awesome location walkable to most major sites and right near the Madeleine metro stop.
Both places are not fancy, but friendly and affordable.
