miominmio So I'm guessing you must love your van der Spek planners! Do you have a favorite? I was wondering if it's possible to go to their factory - I'd love to do that on my next trip to The Netherlands I don't think it's possible to visit (there was a chance to do so earlier this year, but that's the exception). But it would have been fun! But, you could email Petra and ask. and my favourite? Possibly my standard 30 mm brown Janet leather/special nappa azalea with back pocket and secretarial pockets. Loooove that one! You obviously have good taste! I didn't think it was possible but I may go ahead and email Petra. They are all so nice. Customer service at it's best!

Oh my goodness - using planners is a thing! Where have I been?! Just been for a browse and dropped in to a big, old Google hole looking at all these lovely images. I used to have a desk planner that wasn't decorated but was beloved and greatly used for lots of different things, and then I got an iPad...then a few months later an iPhone, and I carry my whole life around in those gadgets in all their synced glory. It suits me so well because of the alarms and notifications, but electronic gadgets just can't touch these planners for loveliness.

I don't use planners, but I do use the Circa system for my yearly productivity reports. Circa is a thing of beauty. I've not found better paper than Levenger's

I've recently started using a paper planner. My kids' activities and various appointments were making it impossible to keep track and not double book. I picked up a planner in the BTS section at Target and it's been getting a workout.
To be honest, the only "decorating" I've done is to use colored pens to color code kids and activities. I just don't have the inclination to do more than I have. I need it more utilitarian rather than pretty.

For those who asked about how I'd work the online store thing...(I can't figure out how to embed/answer quotes yet) ...I was thinking that I could work with VdS to produce a few binders that I could stock and ship right away. While some people love the idea of creating their own, it looks like a lot of people get impatient waiting for them to arrive. I would basically create a set of "custom" binders that I'd order, stock and ship right away. I haven't approached Petra about it yet. I did find VdS products for sale on a Dutch website, so I think they do make some large run items to wholesale.
Let me know what you all think of that idea. Basically the only advantage ordering from me for the same price would be to get it sooner - the trade-off would be you'd have to go with one of the leather combinations that VdS and I would come up with.

Are you sure it isn't the van der Spek webshop you have found? I very much doubt they would sell their custom planners anywhere else. Maybe the Touch Me planners, but not the custom ones. It would kinda defeat the intention of customizing....

They stocked the Touch Me planners, some of the writing accessories (leather tablet holders, pen holders, etc...) from VdS. I was surprise to see that some of their items were made in "non-standard" (read black or brown leather) colors. Here is a link: appelboompennen

I've used paper planners since the 7th grade, and I'm 45. I use a DayMinder monthly planner. I need to have the whole month at once, weekly doesn't work for me because I schedule things out too much further than just a week. I've always combined business and personal in my planners, and I don't color code. I use different colors, they just don't mean anything, lol! For project-based stuff (studying for certifications, landscaping plans, house plans, etc.) I use a Ghostly Action book. I am currently loving the Get To Work Book from Elise Blaha Cripe, but it's a little big and again, I'd need to remove the weekly spreads because I wouldn't use them. It's fabulous though, and Elise is such a sweet person and so very easy to do business with. Highly recommend! What's fun for me is to go back and look at my Monthly Planners from the early 2000's when my kids were born. So much neat information in there about dr. appointments, when they walked, etc.

I use a Plum Paper. It helps keep me organized, and it's a mini-crafty project for me.

I used one from target for several years and loved it. I bought into the erin conden hype and got a planner. At first I loved it but it's too big and I guess I'm not into the label/sticker pages. I just like to write what I need do and not create fancy pages. Of course, I can still do that with my ec one but I'm going back to my original when the year Is done.

It's so interesting that paper planners are making a comeback! I can't imagine ever going back! I do everything online. This way it is synced to all of my devices....iPhone, iPad, laptop, work desktop...it's all there! I don't miss the old days!
