Our hospital came in second despite a flurry of voting this last day. So odd that the first place video was in second until the final 48 hours. Don't know how they did it. The Breast Cancer Resource Center will get a $5000 donation which will still be a great help!

This is a plea for votes, if you are so inclined
Pink Glove Dance Video
This is a link to a fun video created by the staff at my hospital. I am not in the video, but many of my friends are. (I did a 24 hr shift before the one day of filming I could attend and it was 95 degrees that day... I stayed home and slept instead) Anyway, the winner will get a $10,000 donation to the charity of their choice. Our charity is the Breast Cancer Resource Center. It's an amazing place that used to offer free services of all sorts to survivors- wigs, mastectomy bras and prosthetics, counseling, lectures, yoga, Pilates, and other fitness classes, special services for young survivors, women with metastatic disease, and services in other languages besides English and more! Funding has dried up and now there are fees for some of the services. Winning first place will do a lot for many. They helped me through the early years after my diagnosis. Help me help them!
This is the last day and a half for voting. You just need an email addy. The first time you vote, you will get a confirmation email to click. Emails are not collected for any purpose other than voting.

UPDATE: 3 HOURS TO GO and it's an extremely tight race.
Obnoxiously bumping this to the top
3 hours left and the top two, including my hospital, keep flip flopping!
It's crazy because we had been at the top spot the entire time until yesterday. Every time I check, it changes.
So, if you have not clicked and voted, please help me help this organization that helped me so very much and continues to serve as an important resource in our region! As pink month approaches, you will be bombarded with pink messages to buy all sorts of crap that give minimal money to breast cancer research or support of patients. One of the biggest organizations primarily focuses on awareness. Well, we are ALL aware. Do something simple AND free that will help women directly.
