I haven't gone to the grocery store as planned and my two grandsons will be here for dinner so I dug in the freezer and took out chicken breasts and some chicken stock. I have onion, egg noodles, rice, orzo, jalapeños, diced tomatoes and cream. I haven't decided if I'll make old school chicken noodle soup, creamy chicken rice soup or put a Mexican spin on it. Decisions, decisions I have homemade ice cream for dessert. What are you planning for dinner tonight? ETA: I just decided on creamy chicken and orzo soup and I found a box mix for blueberry muffins in the pantry so we'll have muffins with our soup. I really need to go to the grocery store!

Tonight we're doing Taco Tuesday. This am after dropping off kids at school I went to the grocery store for one can of beans. I was in yoga pants, tank top and looked like I had just crawled out of bed. Naturally, I ran into friends doing their shopping. When you look like you feel do you ever go anonymously? Oh Nooooooooooo. Anyway, we have tacos on plan.

I found a recipe on IG. Eating low carb... Ground turkey with stewed tomatoes, peppers and onions served over either pasta or brown rice.

I am thinking the mayo and ranch chicken tenders. Maybe mashed potatoes to go with it. Not 100% sure yet. It's only noon, I got time!

Shrimp bruschetta, no clue if it's good or not, but the ingredients make it sound like it will be delicious. We're having it with pasta, peas and shredded cabbage.

No cooking for me either! We are going out to dinner with my in laws. I'm in the mood for fish so I plan on having a Cape Cod Rueben (fried Haddock instead of corned beef) or Fish Tacos.

Dh is having some dental work done so he will be quite numb when he gets home.
So dd will be having df gf hot dogs, veggies, and chips. Dh and I will be having canned soup. That way I can fix mine and then when he is able to feel his.mouth, he can fix his can.
And honestly, I need a super easy dinner night.

I like having all my errands done early too but it's just making myself do it that I have problems with

Smoked ribs, cole slaw, potato salad and pinto beans. My husband has prepared it all. My contribution was to mix the dressing for the potato salad.
He took over the cooking in '95 when I returned to graduate school and has done 99% of the cooking since then. What is rather amusing--I am the designated cook for all holiday meals, but he does the rest of the year.

I'm having a "eh" day. I feel off, even though I've been eating pretty well and this morning I walked (partially jogged) 2.5 miles. I have done NOTHING the entire rest of the day except sit on the couch until 1pm and the shower.
Dinner tonight is swedish meatballs and egg noodles. I'm unsure yet if I'll eat that or not.

I'm home sick for the second day with a fever, random dizziness and cold symptoms so I'm going to make some yummy corn chowder.
I have a month left til I move so I'm going to freeze some for quick work lunches too.

Tonight it will be just my daughter and I again. It is my oldest sons birthday and I really wanted to throw him a family birthday party but everyone is off in different directions today.
We will probably eat left over shepards pie from last night.
I sprained my ankle during a spontaneous Saturday night dance party in my kitchen so the less I am on it the better.

We're going to a birthday party for an 18-year-old. Although it's being catered, it's teen-friendly foods like chicken strips, pigs-in-the-blanket, potato skins, and so forth. So we're eating like kids tonight!

I picked up a piece of pork tenderloin at the deli earlier(already cooked like the rotteserie chickens) so I'm going to slice that up and we'll have some mac and cheese and I may make myself some corn on the cob or some peas for myself(ds wont eat either) and crescent rolls.. I should make something for dessert, hmmmm will have to see whats in there.

Taco Tuesday and I'm sick so we're going easy. Shredded chicken that has been in the crockpot with tomatillo salsa that I canned with the neighbors- using the meat for shredded chicken tacos and we will put out the fixings. Sides will be creamy black beans and Mexican rice.
