Hey BBBFF's! Welcome to Finale Day of the worst season of BB since the Season of Suck  But we made it ... thanks so much for hanging in with me  Here's a post from the FB page I follow: "Sad moment (?) ... Liz brings up the F2 deal that she knows that Vanessa and Steve have together. Vanessa laid it all out, saying that she's loyal to the Scamper Squad. Liz tears up and brought Steve to tears, and made him cry as well. Vanessa, not so much. Liz went on to cry a bit more in the Bathroom. Steve, a little. I'm still here with you, leannec, just not so thrilled with the happenings in the house. But want to thank you again for bringing us all together every day this summer. Will be paying attention tonight and really hoping Steve wins HOH. As said numerous times, Vanessa does deserve to win (as she has played hard and been in control of the house all summer) but personally, I would love to see the look on her face IF Steve would pick Liz to go to the final 2 with him. I really don't want Liz to win, tho, and we know she would have at least 2 votes from the jury. |

I will have to miss it live tonight because tonight is our annual family baseball game which is severely bumming me out. No way out of it because my brother looks forward to taking all of us once a year.I HATE baseball, most boring sport ever in my book other than watching golf on tv AND the Rockies suck but it is for my brother. So.... I will DVR and stay away from the internet until I can watch it when I get home. I think Vanessa deserves the win but I sure don't want to see it happen. I would love for Steve to get the win tonight and take Liz, just for the look on her face as pattipea said. I don't know that I trust that Vanessa would take Steve as a final 2 if it comes to that. I guess we will see how it all plays out tonight. I do think it is a bit ridiculous to have drawn this out to a week. What was the point? It is boring for us and it has to be boring for them. I like the good ole days where it came down to a final two and they spent one night together in the house, not a week. |

I truly hope they change the format next year. And I hope they get more likable people. I have found Vanessa and Austwins so scuzzy that I find myself disgusted that I watch the show.

I agree. I have stuck it out all summer and watched it Sunday night but in all honesty, I fast forwarded thru most of it. It's been a slow week and I find myself almost forgetting it's still on!

Thanks for keeping the threads alive Leanne! I enjoy reading everyone's views.
Speaking of views - we all have our own & I'm still hoping for a Vanessa win w/Liz as 2nd. Regardless of who wins this season I think the final 3 are a good bunch. Until the last week I would have been almost as good w/a Steve win as Van. He lost me this week though.
I'd be fine w/Vanessa winning part 3 & taking Steve, but I don't think that will happen.
I have enjoyed this season more than the last 3. Almost every week I was really worried/anxious about what might happen. It's been a long time since I felt that or cared.
Did anyone listen to Rob's podcast last night? It was good, Dan was on and I enjoyed hearing his views on the season. Also - there was an interesting interview w/Dr. Will who was the round table mediator. He predicts a Steve win based on his time w/the jury.

so the buzz around FB and some BB blogs is that Vanessa has a new show on CBS called Poker Face premiering later this year. I know people every year say BB is rigged and Ive NEVER believed that but if she really does have a new show coming out its going to make me really wonder.
This was my least favorite season

Seriously about the poker show rumor? That has been debunked so many times. The site that put that out there is the same site that said the fix was in for Amanda to win because she had a deal.

Vanessa said something in the house weeks ago about how that's something she'd *like* to do someday when HGs were talking about using BB as a springboard for other projects, but I haven't seen any credible evidence to suggest that there's any sort of show in the works. MO: There is apparently a rumor that the show Big Brother is being rigged for Vanessa to win to promote this new show called Poker Face. Vanessa has worked extremely hard to get herself to where she is at in the game and if she wins Big Brother it’s because she deserves it and has played an incredible game. Fwiw, I have enjoyed this season, and I will be disappointed if anyone other than Vanessa wins. I have also enjoyed these threads and will miss seeing them every day. No matter who wins tonight - I'll be happy for the winner. They've all been playing hard for months.
I don't think I could survive in that environment for 3 days - let alone 3 months.

I wouldn't be happy with a Liz win, but I'll be happy with Steve or Vanessa. They have both been playing hard, and their hearts are in it. Liz seemed to have a great summer hanging out.
This season was definitely too long. I think the biggest problem was that the characters with the big personalities went out early. The last week really drags, too. It makes it seem like it is going out with a fizzle rather than a bang.

If it is all stars I hope James comes back, he is one of my all time favorite people on this show. I wouldn't mind seeing him And Caleb hanging out, I bet they would be very entertaining and silly.
