I don't get Meghan's obsession with Brooks's cancer. She must have a lot of free time to be calling doctors to find out what procedures they perform. I felt bad for Vicki...everyone is telling her to get paperwork to prove the cancer and she keeps telling them to MYOB and I don't want to talk about this and they all keep badering her. And she says she is still grieving, but they keep getting in her face. Ish. I know they truth is going to come out soon, but geez can you lay off Vicki and concentrate on your own family?
I thought it was very real when Heather said she just needs a "thank you" or "I appreciate you" from Terry. It's such a common issue (at least in my circle) and it's nice to know we all feel it at some point no matter the size of our bank accounts. So very human.
I did feel a little bad for Terry again though, Heather is mean to him sometimes and he seems like such a nice guy! He couldn't say anything right about the tree carving. |

I couldn't believe how Ryan was acting when they were looking at the house. My guess is that he felt embarrassed over not having the money for the house and it manifested as assholiness.

Kudos to Meghan if she uncovers a lie. She does seem a bit obsessed, and I am not sure why she is so focused on possibly outing Brooks. I can see myself thinking, "Gee, this doesn't sound right", but I can't see myself calling doctors. It almost makes it like a personal vendetta when it doesn't affect her if he is lying or telling the truth, and she and Vicki aren't really good friends so there's no really motive, except it does keep her on the show. It all could be good editing, but his story doesn't add up. I admit, I can't wait to see what else she digs up.

I think Vicki is over the top in her reaction to all this. She needs to just walk away and not engage, instead of yelling and getting obnoxious and ugly mean. I agree Meghan should just let it drop, but I think Vicki is just being a mean girl to Meghan. She keeps referring to the 30 year old - give it a rest. And Vicki brings up the subject as much or more than Meghan does. It looks like next week Brooks brings out his PET scan report and the ladies still think it's fake. I think they all just need to drop it.
That being said, if it really does turn out to be fake, then shame on both Brooks and Vicki.
Vicki was just plain mean this season! Especially to Meghan with the whole you're young thing and the whole stepmom issue. Meghan is not my favorite but I think she's trying. And she's kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Vicki is such a hypocrite. But people have said that to her before and it makes her livid. Look up the definition, Vicki. You are a classic fit!

I do think Megan is going too far but I WANT TO KNOW IF HE REALLY HAS CANCER! Why do I need to know so bad? I think it's because I can't believe someone in the public eye would fake cancer but we've seen it before so it's absolutely possible. I have a friend with a lifelong cancer who will have monthly chemo for the rest of her life and she looks great. She does get infections and viruses a lot but other than that, you wouldn't really know she was sick.
Ryan is a complete asshole. I am sure Simon is sitting back watching thinking he told them this is how he would turn out all along. He needs to grow up. I feel bad for those girls because he seems to have no patience for them. I don't see this being a lasting relationship.

Gretchen was on Andy Cohen's show the other night and stated something to the effect of the same thing had gone on with her with Vicki questioning Jeff's diagnosis (I didn't watch back then.) Anyway she said Kharma has come for Vicki and Kharma's name is Meghan!
I have to say that I feel bad for Vicki at this point. Her mother just died while they were filming the season. My guess is it's only been months at best since she passed that we are seeing. I know for me, i'd have to think i'd be very fragile and not have my feet under me too well and all they do is constantly bring up this drama about Brooks.
Honestly if it were me i'd tell them to all F off and go my own way. Which leads you to even the biggest asshole friends couldn't be that mean right? This has all got to be so staged.

I think Megan is digging into Brooks' business to make sure she is relevant and has lots of screen time. I can't imagine anyone IRL doing that.
Based on Vicki's reaction with Shannon, I think she's onto Brooks and can't admit that she's sticking with him even tho he's a huge liar. She's made too many conflicting statements about what part of the process she's been involved in.
As far as Gretchen goes (and I didn't watch WWHL) I don't remember anyone saying Jeff wasn't honest about his diagnosis, but I do remember people accusing Gretchen of being a gold digger.

I agree that we all need to be shown appreciation, but I wonder how often Heather thanks Terry for getting up at 4am for surgeries and then filming Botched and RHOC, so she can live have the mansion/lifestyle that she so enjoys talking about.

I read an interview recently in which Vicki said she will never leave the show and I just don't get that. I have been re watching the first seasons recently and I can not get over how much Vicki has changed. Drastically. Clearly she is no longer happy and she has admitted the show is responsible for some of that. She has stated her marriage to Donn could have been saved if not for the show.
This show has documented so much of her life collapsing. Her divorce, every single one of her friendships gutted, her feud with her daughter, her son running like heck to distance himself from her, her mother's death, her entanglement with Brooks. It doesn't seem like Billy and her are as close anymore either. I mean HOW is this any fun for her. She seems miserable and who wouldn't be. Let the show go, Vicki and regain some sanity.

Whether that was true or not there was real affection between Jeff and Gretchen so I think the irony Gretchen may be referring to is while her loved one was fighting then dying, they were also having to deal with the rumor mill when they shouldn't have had to and if Brooks does indeed have cancer, they are now going through the same thing.
I really don't think the show is staged per say but I do think the producers and Andy stir a lot of crap up to hype up the drama. I think some of these housewives get "suggestions". But I have never got the impression the emotions these actions dredge up are fake or acted.

I didn't watch back then so i'm not sure what she was referring to...maybe just that Vicki was mean to her at the time when Jeff was sick and these girls have turned on Vicki in the same situation? No idea what her exact meaning was in that kharma had come for Vicki. |

Meghan is a child. and they more I see her the less pretty she gets. Her hair is terrible...thin and straggly. Her neck is freakishly long. She's broad-backed. And that bizarro roaring '20's headband. What a freak show!

Ryan is a loser....no other way to put it. He clearly has no motivation and no skills to build a better life. And, if that was my son, no way would I be exposing (exploiting?) him on tv.

Okay, so here's what I've gathered from WWL comments and of Tamara Tattles, keep in mind for some reason she's really a big Vicki fan. Brooks has a grifter history, that's not in dispute at all. He has exes claiming that he's made this 'false' claim before. I follow Shannon's FB page. She's hilarious, btw, she makes goofy videos and tours her whole house. In the very first video she made she was answering fan questions and one of them asked 'do you believe Brooks really has cancer?" and David popped his head in and said "NO!". It was pretty funny. Shannon looked at him and kinda made a face like "why'd you do that?" and then she just said that she didn't know, didn't have an opinion, but to watch the show. I think they posted that video like a week ago. Why Meagan is so hell bent do anything at all costs to my reputation expose him. I haven't the foggiest. I suppose its producer driven (on TT blog she wrote that Brooks has been Twittering that he's done with all the HW and the show's bs fake/scripted drama). I assume Meagan wants to be the next "Brandi", but without all the tampon string drunken in public incidents. I think Brooks needed money, came sniveling to Vicki that his 'cancer' was back during the offseason (remember, she paid for his teeth, his car/clothes etc). She's definitely his sugar mamma. I think Vicky is so desperately in love with him, she needs a man in her life, and this man lives to flatter her ego, then tear her down, then cheat on her, them come back with tearful proclamations of undying love etc. He's a known grifter, and this is what he does. This all backfired him because it winded up become the ENTIRE STORYLINE for the season. I don't think he counted on the cast making it their mission to expose him. I think he thought he could just come back as a sympathetic character. What a crappy season this is. Other than him, what else is happening? Terry and Heather's fake (sorry I think so staged) little martial strife over a tree sketch proposal for a window? They are a rich married non drama couple, they have nothing to bring to the show, really, other than watch that massive mansion being built. They don't have bratty kids, their marriage is sound..rich but boring. Now we are going to have to sit through footage of her trying to make a go of a skincare line? ZZZZZZZZZZZ please. Tamara's fake ass pot stirring is just tired and predictable now. No one wants to see her ashhole son continue to be a lazy leach and an ingrate. He never married the woman and they've had epic fights with police being called. I feel like their fitness studio is struggling, and she's going back to selling houses again because they need the cash flow. I think more than ever, she needs to 'bring it' on the show to ensure she continues to be cast. I think Brianna's husband Ryan is probably an abusive prick and that's why Vicki is always flying out there..I think they are scared of him and Brianna feels stuck. She's isolated out there in OK with no friends (probably because she's so scared he'll embarrass her and it'll get out in the press/social media). I can totally see that happening. I think Vicki knew at some point that Brooks was lying, but it was already all on camera, and not wanting to have to face the truth about him and be shamed publicly over him again, she decided to go along with the cancer thing. Her mom had just died, she was grieving and didn't think she could bear to lose him too. So she just decided to ignore it. I think that's why she's acting so ridiculous and over the top about this whole thing, demanding everyone to just shut up about it already. Well, the producers aren't going to let them, they need something to film. Shannon disappointed me by not just sticking with Vicki. Vicki stuck by her side all last season when Heather and Tamara were all over Shannon. Vicki was her only ally. Now all of a sudden this season Shannon is besties with them and helping to throw Vicki and Brooks under the bus? All she had to say when they started grilling her about if Vicki had asked her to call the doctors on Brooks' behalf was "IDK, maybe I remember it wrong, I thought she did" and leave it at that. She could have stayed pointedly vague and saved face for Vicki. That's what I would do for my friend. They asked Shannon on WWHL the other night if she and Vicki were still friends, and Shannon said 'no' and that she didn't think she ever would be again. I think Shannon is disgusted w/Vicki, and I get why she's not friends anymore, I just wish during filming she didn't jump on the dog pile. That wasn't necessary. I agree with wondering why at this point, would Vicki continue to want to be on the show. I think she feels its all she has now. She's lost every other relationship she's had in her life, all of them gone, or on real shaky ground. She still has her fans and the income that the show brings. I think she's addicted to it at this point, and can't possibly let it go. I think it would devastate her if she was fired or the show got canned. She is the OG housewife, she can't imagine life otherwise, I think. |

On Watch What Happens Live (Andy's Show) the other night Tamara said that Brook's broke up with Vicki and that she doesn't think that it's over between the two of them. Vicki is heartbroken and would take Brooke's back.
That's crazy to me. He seems like such a user and a skeeze.

The thing is, Brooks and Vickie didn't HAVE to have his cancer be a storyline. They could have bowed out of the show. Especially Brooks.
I don't believe Brooks at all. I think Vicki found out he was lying and was embarrassed and went along with it.
Shannon seems like a really great friend to have, and I think there has to be a very good reason for her to end her friendship with Vicki.
I think it was right of Shannon to voice her doubts about Brooks considering all of the help she had been giving him. She wouldn't want to look complicit in their lie. Plus, she probably felt like a fool, like she was being used.
